<p>Today’s episode, I’m going to bring back a dear friend of mine, Andrew Mellen so that you get to know him better. He and I both were members of a business group coaching program and we noticed that now that we are no longer at the program, we have so many people that we know and love, and we miss them and would love to maintain a relationship with them.</p>
<p>So today, he is going to be on with me so we can get to know him better here, and I am going to be bringing other friends of ours on to the podcast in the coming weeks so that you can get to know them along with me. So, strap in, here we go!</p>
<p>Andrew, welcome back to the Journeypreneur Podcast.</p>
<p><strong>Andrew</strong>: Thank you, it’s great to be here with everybody. Hi!</p>
<p><strong>Victoria</strong>: Yeah! So, let’s get into it. Maybe this is the first time someone is meeting you. What helps, I found, is to be able to share what are the 3 things, maximum 3 things, you’re known for in your business and in your career. So, tell us.</p>
<p><strong>Andrew</strong>: Ok, well for one, I am known as the most organized man in America. So, that was not a title that I gave myself. That’s something that the media called me. And so, I am happy to use it. So that’s one thing. Time management, productivity, efficiency, sustainability those are the things that I focus on in my work with both individuals as well as B2B companies like The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The New York Mets or American Express. And there’s a certain mindset that I’ve picked up along the way to keep growing my business these last 20+ years.</p>

<p>So, you are in for a treat today. The title of this podcast episode is<span> </span><strong>Don’t Pretend Your Grass Is Greener </strong>and in fact that title came from our guest today: Chantelle Paige Turner.</p>
<p>She founded<span> </span><a href="https://www.facebook.com/strongermommy/">Stronger Mommy</a>, where she creates a safe space for mothers of special needs children to come together, pool resources and lift each other up on that journey of parenthood. And we are on a roll right now.</p>
<p>We are talking about not pretending your grass is greener. Chantelle, take it away. What’s dropping in for you for our listeners?</p>
<p><strong>Chantelle: </strong>Awesome Victoria, thank you for having me on, and yeah we’re talking about that and I was just saying that, you know I think so often, we’re looking around at the different people that are out there in our space and on social media today, obviously it’s a lot more competitive than it used to be, right?</p>
<p>Because we are not all standing there at the water cooler telling our favorite stories. We’re constantly posting the best versions of our lives up on social media, and so it’s easy to look at somebody else and think "oh my God their grass is so green," right?</p>
<p>Everybody is familiar with this saying where you think their life is perfect. Things are so nice, you know, on their side of the fence. And, I think because of that, we end up in some ways trying to paint our own grass. That starts to makes sense.</p>
<p>You know, we’re out there and we’re with the spray-paint can pretending our grass was just watered and it’s growing like crazy, but in reality we just spray-painted it green for the party, and that’s the picture that we are going to post.</p>

We're going to take the next four videos to cover this as a topic integrating shamanism and the shamanic perspective into your business and into your professional life for better grounding, creativity, innovation and communication.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> As always, in these series we begin with a mediation around why. Why is it time for you to awaken your shaman within? Let me come a little closer. I know, you're like, <em>"Oh my God, you're far away,"</em> right? It's time for you to awaken your shaman within, and the reason why is that source is calling you to better connect to your employees and your clients.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"> This is about communication, communication, communication, baby. I'm sure you've taken so many communications courses, gone to the events, gone and done all of the workshops and gotten your certifications and things, sensitivity training and so on and so forth. Be kind to yourself, it's not that you're not good enough, as to why communication is coming back up again, but it's actually because you are being called to go higher.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> There's a huge difference. This is the tweetable of the week, there's a huge difference between feeling not good enough versus being called to go higher. And that's where this concept of bringing shamanism and awakening your inner-shaman in your business and in your professional life, that's why this is coming forward.</span></p>

<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1"> Let's talk about this a little bit more. The word shaman, in western culture we tend to think of shaman as some dude, first of all, I'm female. Some dude up on the mountain top or in the jungle with his junk hanging out and paint on his face, looking regal and natural and fabulous and super spiritual and hits you with the oak leaves and clears your energy.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> I know you don't think that but I've got to get to the lowest common denominator, so we can all find ground. So not to knock anybody who believes that but some people, that's the first emotional, kind of guttural reaction that they get when they hear shaman. <em>"Why the ... I own a plumbing company, why would I want to be a shaman in my ... that's ridiculous. You're a weirdo."</em> Right?</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"> So be kind to yourself if that comes up or be kind to yourself if others have said that to you. We'll be weird together for the next four weeks, or if you've been following my love letters for a while, baby, we've been weird together for years. So good, right?</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> The word shaman actually comes from the Siberian Tungus tribe and it means one who sees in the dark. One who sees in the dark. My guides are telling me to actually shut the lights for a little bit. When things start getting darker in life or a bit more uncertain, it can cause your ability to see detail to decrease, right? So if I were to go and cut the corner light out here, it's even hard to see me. The uncertainty is increasing because it's getting darker.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1"> Now I'm not going to go completely dark but this is just to make the point, what if when I turned that light off you were still able to see me and you were still able to see how many fingers am I holding up? If you have the ability to see in the dark when others can't, you are, according to the Tungus tribe you're a shaman, but my more contemporary terms you are a leader.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> It gives you the ability to, I'm just going to cut the light back on. It gives you the ability to better communication with your environment because you have access to more energy and wisdom, and that is why this month we are awakening your shaman within.</span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> But let's continue on this topic of being the visionary, because that's what it means to be the shaman. You are one who sees in the dark. You're the leader, and that is where we're going higher in your ability to communicate in your business, access to information, innovation, creativity, certainty and confidence, so that you can best lead your teams or best lead your clients and customers to all go higher together in the process.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1"> Now I'm hearing the oracle cards calling in the energy. Guides, what do we need to know right now about why it really is the time now to awaken our shaman within in business?</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> I just cut that. Bam, lightning, power. Here's where we're going to leave off for this week. Lightning is re-polarizing the electrical charge of an environment. Perhaps now more than even you need another level of resource, another level of perspective in order to deal with the charged environment that you are moving through. Just like a bolt of lightning is powerful and it is a burst of insights that brings neutrality between that thunder cloud and the earth below her.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"> So maybe it's the tense environment of restructuring at your corporation, your organization. Or maybe it is that charge of discomfort that is going on between team members. They're just not communicating very well because of limited perspective. Or, I'm going to do a pun on charge is what I'm hearing to say, that even this is your discomfort with receiving more money or raising your rates. You need a higher vibrational perspective and higher mindset to help you make it there, and your shaman within can see the way forward.</span></strong></span></p>

<p>I’m Sensei Victoria Whitfield, your Business Reiki Master and it's my joy to help empathic entrepreneurs like you get and stay grounded and clear in mind, body, and business. I'm here at the gorgeous Washington Rock, here in New Jersey. This is a 20+ mile view, out here in the dead of winter.</p>
<p><strong>The new topic that we're going to be talking about over our next series is really about Being Clear on what we're stepping into.&nbsp;</strong>This is especially important because we're stepping into our divinity this year, and that demands clarity - isn't it true? With that, I wanted to bring you to this space. It's a sacred space of mine because seeing this far out represents having clear perspective.</p>
<p>Now it's the dead of winter, so the trees are bare, you can see clean through to the other side of the trees. You can see all the way from here in central New Jersey, clean out to New York, actually. It's really far. This is actually where George Washington was watching to see where the opposing army was marching; it was from this lookout, in particular.</p>
<p><strong>So, here is something to note on Perspective.&nbsp;</strong>Sometimes in order for us to get the right vision that spirit has for us as we are stepping into our calling or stepping into our divinity, we must be able to elevate our perspective and really open up to see things from that 20-mile view. This week in particular, my guides are telling me to challenge you, "How can you step back? How can you clear things so that you are able to see from that further-out perspective?"<br />

<p>I hear the oracle cards calling in the energy, and it's a little bit cold here, so I'm going to make this quick. The oracle cards that we'll be journeying this month with in particular, are the Isis Oracle Cards Deck by Alana Fairchild. I'm happy to explore this deck with you. The oracle card of the week is <em>Temple Of Lapis Lazuli, Goddess of the Ancient Skies. </em>What do we need to know right now, Temple of Lapis Lazuli, Goddess of the Ancient Skies?</p>
<p><strong>What’s dropping in as a message from this card in particular, is to really open up to your higher knowing.&nbsp;</strong>When you think of lapis lazuli as a healing stone, this has to do with opening your throat chakra, but also connecting to our star origins, as a people. When we're tapping into that higher knowledge and claiming it, the process entails remembering the ancient wisdom that is embedded within us, by seeing how it comes from having a higher, more elevated perspective on life and business. Step back, first, so that you can access this level of awareness.</p>
<p>I'm curious what drops in for you, this week in particular. I just wanted to share the natural beauty of this lookout with you, this beautiful view. I think I'll come back and continue to do this series from Washington Rock. Remember to take in that 20-mile view of your life and business. <p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>It is the force that determines the path that your life takes, right? It is that resource behind how you make decisions.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> That's what your spirit is, so for those of us you are religious, we understand to be the holy spirit. For those of us that aren't creative or consider ourselves scientific, same thing, that you can understand to be your creative spirit, your spirit of innovation, growth and progress, that sort of a spirit. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This is the fuel behind your decision making processes and when you're learning how to love yourself on another level, so that you can better love others, right? </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>We're filling our cup at the faucet, the resource that we need, so that we can then hand that cup or pour from a full pitcher to others to love on them, as well. Showing up in service and loving others, abundantly.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> With that, this week in particular, when we're learning how to love our spirit, it's important to then understand what your core values are, especially when you're at work. Now, there's a very professionalism and all those kinds of corporate sort of language. Mission, vision, values that comes up for us when we think of, what do we value? But instead, I want you to think of when it comes to loving yourself, what do you value? </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>When it comes to your life, what do you value? When it comes to being loving, what do you value? Remembering that your spirit is the force behind your decision making process.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> With that, this week in particular, we want to pick one value in particular that is loving to you. One that nourishes you. If we could choose a more concrete word, whether than just loving can sometimes be a morphosis for those of us who are not used to being loving to oneself, right? </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">We're used to being loving to others, so think of a value that would be nourishing to you, even if you want to pick nourishment. My nourishment is something that I value.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Me personally, my top values are, number one, love. Obviously. Number two is safety and number three is honor. Honesty for me falls underneath honor, so when I have something more vulnerable that I need to share to a team member or someone that I'm in an intimate relationship with, maybe family or my partner and so on, I think of my value of honor and that, for me, is loving toward myself first and that gives me the courage to then speak from the heart about topics that might be a little bit more vulnerable making or feel uncomfortable to bring up. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>That value gives me the courage to make a decision with my spirit to allow the spirit of honor to come through me and create more honorable experiences. Are you getting the picture here?</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> That's loving towards me because I'm bringing that spirit into my awareness in my decision making, which then effects my behavior and how I show up to others, how I serve others. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>If I come with a spirit of honor or spirit of love or spirit of safety and honoring my safety, others safety and so on and so forth. What would be your value? How can you, but we want to make this very specific, this week in particular to work. How can you honor your spirit or how can you bring your spirit into your work experience?</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Perhaps it is honoring your religion. I'm putting a lot of my value of honor. Perhaps it is bring your spirit's desire to be religious or to glorify God in all that you do and bring that to your work experience. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">How would you work? How would you show up? How would you speak to others if the force behind your decisions and your behaviors is, I want to glorify God in whatever I do?</span></strong></span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> On the flip side, what if your value was, I value my health. My health comes first. How would you show up at work today if your value is, my health comes first? This is the one value that I'm going to embody today. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>How can you allow that to come forward in your work day? How would you speak to people? How would you sit at your desk? What food would you choose to put in your body if that was your value that you were going to honor today, this week?</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Whether you're going all week or just for today, what would be different about the way that you conduct your behavior and the decisions that you make if you made value based decisions? </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong> The power and the self-loving, self-nourishing aspect of making value based decisions is that you become responsive rather than reactive to life around you. When we're reactive, things happen and all right, I got to put out the fire over here and oh, so and so needs me.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Okay, I'll do this and oh my gosh, what about this and da da da da and you're working yourself up spiritually because there's no anchor, there's no value anchoring you down on a spiritual level. Your decisions are flying off at the handle, they're reacting to all of the circumstances that are around you versus making value based decisions. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>You're able to ground and then respond with wisdom to the experiences that are coming toward you so that your life, you're building by design in a wise and spiritually grounded way.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Value based decisions, that's the challenge for this week, in particular. The mantra of the week is, what's my value? Remember it's one. I know some of you do core desired feelings and stuff like that and you pick several and all of this. What one? Just one. Simplify it. I value simplicity. Let's all value simplicity right now. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Bring the spirit of simplicity so that you can be kind to yourself and one, what's my value?</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> The next time someone asks you something, the next time you begin your work day, the next time you sit down to eat, what's my value? That is your mantra. Today, in particular, or for this week, in particular. Whatever you're ready to commit to. </span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">We've been at that together and because of that, sources taken notice. There's a new opportunity coming your way that you want to use your value. You're going to need to have a set of values or one guiding light that gives you enough anchoring to receive that opportunity. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>If you don't have it, you're going to miss this opportunity and it's because you're got to anchor first in order to receive the level of opportunity that's coming to you this week, in particular. Maybe even today. We want to make wise decisions, ones that are responding to life with elegance , with wisdom, with grounding, allowing spirit to come through and wash through our lives, blessing rather than rushing through and feeling unloved, especially by ourselves. Slow down, ground, make value-based decisions so that you can receive the next level opportunity that's coming to you.</strong> </span></p>

<p style="text-align: right;"><em><span style="color: #800080;"><b>"I'm too afraid to even try meditating."</b></span></em></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This week in particular we are on week three of four in a deep dive around what is grounding and how to really live a grounded life.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong> Last week we spoke about physical grounding, knowing the symptoms of being physically ungrounded.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Now that was only a partial list. A complete list is here in my "Natural Intuition Now" book. It's much more comprehensive. We have list after lists of more and more things to look out for, so go ahead on Amazon.com, order that. That's book one by the way for beginners, "Natural Intuition Now" book one. It's on Amazon.com. In two days it'll be at your doorstep if you've got prime.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"> So for today in particular we are talking about emotional and mental grounding. </span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Last week we looked at making sure that we're cleansing so that we're physically connected to our nature so that our bod's an open channel for allowing empathic energy to flow to and through us, not getting clogged up even on a physical level, right?</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong> For emotional and mental symptoms of being ungrounded, what that looks like is anxiety, depression, racing repetitive thoughts, negative self-talk, a pessimistic mindset, really set against understanding or being open-minded, like having a closed mindset.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">These are symptoms of being mentally and emotionally ungrounded. Why? </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Because on a mental and emotional level, you're going against your nature. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">So having pent up feelings for example and not being able to be emotionally accessible or expressive is also symptoms of being emotionally ungrounded. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">Remember, being grounded is being connected to our nature, our zero, our neutral set point.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> How can we, this week in particular, get more connected to being emotionally and mentally grounded? Maybe you do have the racing thoughts. Maybe it's hard for you to focus naturally, right? There's just so much going on in your head. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">I've even had clients where, <em>"Victoria, I don't even want to try meditating because I don't know what I'm going to find once I start digging."</em> I don't know, they'll have this fear which is another symptom of being emotionally and mentally ungrounded. </span><span class="s1">So what exactly can we do?</span></strong></p>

<h2 class="p1"><a href="https://ctt.ec/wMfnx"><strong><span class="s1">Know this: Fear is a symptom of being mentally &amp; emotionally ungrounded.</span></strong></a></h2>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Now there are many things that you can go about that. Again in the book there's list after list after list of things that you can do for emotional and mental grounding, but this week in particular my guides are saying the technique to observe yourself in this week is around your relationship with time.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"> Time actually doesn't exist. Time is emotion. </span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Time is emotion. Sure, there's like a clock, right? </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">I watch the clock and stuff while I'm speaking to you or holding space for the sessions here so I can be the time goods to keep you grounded emotionally however is why I do that, because how stressful does that feel, how much negative emotion comes up when people are running over or someone is taking up more of your time.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong>How refreshing emotionally does that feel when we're ending even on time or even just a little bit early so there's just enough for me to get up, stretch myself, and release we were just doing.</strong></p>
<p class="p1">How compressed does the emotion feel when it's a tense environment? How compressed as in slow moving does time move when the air in the room is tense?</p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong>Maybe there's an argument at work or maybe at home there's a lot of stress in the environment. All that emotional, thoughtful tense energy causes things to creep along. Whereas if we're happy, we're rocking out, we're having a good time, a party, wherever. Suddenly time flies.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1">Time is emotion.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> So this week in particular the guides are suggesting, take it or leave it, take your time for emotional and mental grounding. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>When you're trying to express yourself, make sure that you pause powerfully, allow yourself space to gather your thoughts, to arrange your ideas.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Also allow yourself emotional space as in making time for, if you have some negative emotion such as grief, frustrating, giving yourself time for expressing that in the right kind of safe environment for you.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> But this week in particular it's making time because if you are rushing, you're actually ungrounding yourself mentally and emotionally. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">That's why it's harder to focus when you feel rushed actually because you're ungrounded. You're moving against your nature. Slow down and take your time this week in particular.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> By the way, we have other love letters called Pause Powerfully and Slow Down. I've done so many love letters over the last few years. So you can do YouTube searches just to check those out for a little bit more on those topics. </span></p>

<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">Oh! Abundancia, Prosperity. The universe is pouring its abundance out to you. Be open to receive.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Now I don't know if like the camera is backwards when you're looking at this, but this is such a powerful message to receive around emotional and mental grounding. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>You have an abundance of time. There's always more. There's an infinite supply, right? Thinking abundantly helps you to relax.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Having an abundant mindset opens up your energy and connects you more to nature. Does a tree ever think twice about growing its leaf? No. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">It just allows the abundance of air and chemicals to pass through it, and it continues producing, reproducing in that cosmic dance of life.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"> Abundance. Having an abundant mindset is so powerful for allowing yourself to feel more emotionally and mentally grounded. </span></strong></span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Last week, we discussed why we ground and what's at stake in that. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The reason why, just as a quick recap, is because we're empathic beings. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">We all have a natural empathic sense, which picks up ambient, intuitive data, and sometimes, that sense can get overwhelmed, and grounding flushes that and manages the health of our empathic system. </span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Today, we're going to be talking about what is physical grounding? </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Have you ever had this experience where, let's say you're at work, you're in the zone, and you're really typing up this really great thing, maybe email, or report, or whatever, and you're on the phone, man, you're really jamming out with whoever you're serving.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Then you're going over to do this task and then this task, and then so and so needs your help, and so you're helping them, and then you're ... Before you know it, the end of the day comes. You haven't peed. You haven't eaten. You haven't even been outside. Before you know it, I'm looking at the window over here. Beautiful, beautiful, sunny day outside. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">Before you know it, the day is gone. The whole season, maybe, even is gone. </span>This is a sign that you are physically ungrounded.</strong></p>
<p class="p1">Another one.</p>
<p class="p1">Maybe you work at home at your computer, or maybe as a student, you're going to class all day and studying.</p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong>Do you ever have these feelings of tightness in your shoulders? Tightness in your neck and your upper back?</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1">Tightness, I know you can feel it as I'm doing this, in your hips, right, and your pelvis, tightness in your knees. Tightness in your jaw. Tightness, do you feel tightness?</p>
<p class="p1"><strong>That is a sign that you are physically ungrounded.</strong></p>

<h2 class="p1"><a href="http://ctt.ec/20le2">‪Know this: Tightness and forgetting to eat (because you're "too busy") are signs of being physically ungrounded.</a></h2>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Be kind to yourself, if this is speaking to you. Here's the thing. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Physical grounding is managing our empathic system as it manifests physically.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Another form, another sign that you are physically ungrounded, is that your space is disorderly. Maybe there's stuff on the floor and stuff like that. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Right now, I have all these lovely resources to share with you for whichever want to come, speaks to me, but this is clutter. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Clutter is a sign of ungrounding.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">I'm in my crown chakra shocker right now. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">That's why I have this on the treatment table. I will ground after I do this video, of course, but if there's clutter, that's another physical sign that you're physically ungrounded. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"> I'm standing to speak to you to make sure that I keep regrounding, regrounding, regrounding my physical body so that I'm able to present to you.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Here's the thing. If you find that tension in your body, or if you find that you have not peed, you are not eating, like you're forgetting to take care of the body, you're not even sleeping because you're just laying awake at night thinking, <em>"Oh, I gotta do this thing for so and so. I gotta go get Ben to go ... I gotta go get Stacy, and I gotta go get Jennifer and blah, and so and so, and ... "</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> You may love everybody. I do, too, hey, and there are some people that are stinky. I understand, I know some stinky winkies too, like the crusty crabs. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Laying awake at night, trying to problem solve all up in here does nothing for all this.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> This week in particular, the guides are asking for you to focus on taking care of your physical health, and clearing all that mental, emotional energy from your body, by connecting to your body naturally. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Now by the way, one way that you can do that is allowing nature to call.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Anyone knows that when they come to meetings here, whether they're on a team healing journey here at the dojo, where we're doing healing journeys for entire offices, and teams, together. Which is awesome. Or if you're here for the retreats at the dojo. I'm loving how I'm phrasing things right now. Send me some love. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Whether you're here on retreats here at the dojo, and you're here for five hours, or more, everyone knows, about every hour I say, <em>"Ready? Run and pee for your life. Let's take a pee break."</em> This is physically grounding. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>This is to honor the fact that your body has functions.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Believe it or not, not allowing your body to eliminate, whether it's poo, or pee, or the blood that comes out for ladies, or for the rest of us when we have an orgasm and releasing that energy, that can hold in empathic data. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Yes, really. Allow yourself to go to the bathroom. I know some of you are watching this and being like, <em>"Come on Victoria, are you serious?"</em> Yes. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong> For those who are highly empathic you can get so absorbed in the nonphysical aspects of being highly empathic that you forget to take care of your body.</strong> </span></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">When you're cultivating your natural intuition, your physical channel has got to be clear and grounded, grounded meaning connected to your zero, right? </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Connected to neutral to nature, so that it can easily receive and release empathic data.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> No my guides are telling me to pull a card. Let's see which deck? Which deck am I going to choose? I'll bring you with me. </span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>This week my guides are talking cleanse, to help you ground and clear your personal energy, specifically for maintaining your empathic system.</strong> </span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>This week, Source is saying that you need to go on a diet. Not a food diet, no; but actually an information diet. Let me explain.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Maybe recently, have you noticed that there's more and more reports about negative news? Maybe you've been hearing more drama stories at work, or with your friends, or maybe; have you been reading a book that's like really emotional and dramatic and intense.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">At the same time, have you noticed that you've been feeling a little bit more anxious, frustrated, annoyed, sad, or even depressed? Maybe even restless or really angry recently.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The two are related.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>This is what the Guides want you to know this week, is that the information that you take into you, affects you, the same way that if you eat a certain diet, that let's say, is not in alignment with your best health.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Whatever that means for you; your feelings, your physical feelings in your body, such as in your joints or in your belly, or in your chest, or in your sinus, will be affected. Your body lets you know that what you put into her, has an affect on her.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">In a dramatic sense, if you drink something that you shouldn't have, or if you eat some bad food, she'll let you know by bringing it back up and out, all right, because that's what your body does to respect yourself; or chemo receptive sense, pushes the bad chemicals or the negative energy out of her when we're at above the level of tolerance.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>The same happens with your mind.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This weekend particular, you need to watch,<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span><em>"What am I putting into my head?"</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Do you notice maybe in your Facebook or Twitter feed there's all these really annoying people, or really heavy news reports, or maybe you've been watching a certain TV or movie series, that really is just violent or intense?</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">If you've been putting information into you that is of a lower vibration, it has an effect on your mind set and on your emotions.</span></strong></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #000000;">So this week in particular, just become mindful of what you're putting in. Go on an information diet.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>As we're speaking right now, the energy is saying you know exactly what to watch out for.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">You know exactly which information channels; maybe it's the news, maybe it's the Facebook feed, maybe it's the Twitter feed, maybe it's that's website that you always go to look up stuff, or maybe it's that one person who you always ask, <em>"What's going on with so-and-so?"</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Be kind to yourself this week in particular by watching your information diet; that's the way you're going to be kind to yourself this week in particular, and I'm hearing the oracle cards calling in the energy to way in on this subject.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">Indigo Angel Oracle Cards deck by Doreen Virtue, one of many, of course, decks here, we're always receiving donations if you'd like to send them.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">When I asked our library of oracle cards, it was this deck in particular that stepped forward and said, <em>"We can contribute something really powerful this week in particular."</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Angels what do we need to know right now about going on an information diet? Is there something under neath what we've been experiencing? I feel this card coming through ... "Mother Mary."</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Mother Mary ... In the energy, I'm hearing that she has to do a lot with protection, gentleness and compassion. Not only for others, but also for ourselves. They're telling me to read also the entry in particular so let's check this out together.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><em><span class="s1"><strong>"Known as the Queen of Angels, Mother Mary is the embodiment of unconditional love and compassion. This card calls for you to look at the people in your life, as well as yourself, with the same love. Mother Mary can help you embrace your gifts and talents and honor yourself in every moment. Sometimes called the divine nurturer, she reminds you to be proud of how far you've come in this life time, and encourages you to keep moving forward."</strong></span></em></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The guides are telling me to stop right there for a moment. When we go on a diet, it's not just about limitation, but it's also about adding in things that are better, right?</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #000000;">The guides are saying limit the negative input, increase the positive input - such as with appreciation.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Look at all the incredible things that you've accomplished lately. Think about the last year of your life, how much have you gotten done? Especially things that you thought would've never been possible, right?</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">If I would pause for a moment, and appreciate and acknowledge what I've done, "Oh my gosh" in the last year:</span></p>
<ul>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">I have a brand new dojo</span></li>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">I'm going on a national tour</span></li>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">I've secured several international tour dates</span></li>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">I've celebrated my 30th birthday</span></li>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">I've maintained my health</span></li>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">I've created new and wonderful deepened relationships with my family</span></li>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">I now know hundreds and hundreds of people personally, and have touched hundreds of lives.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span class="s1">If I were to appreciate what I've done in the last year, I'd run out of time on this video.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">I need you to do that for yourself this week. This is what the guides are telling me to relay to you.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><em><span class="s1"><strong>"Mother Mary protects, guides, and supports all children, including Indigo Children. Indigo Children are those that are highly intuitive, perceptive and sensitive. <p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>You're going on an information diet, not because you want to shut other people out, but instead you want to tune into who you really are.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">You know, you barely have enough energy to manage your own life, and manage your own self. Be kind to yourself and focus on the positive this week in particular.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Try it out, 7 days; if, you know, it all goes to hell then you only did it for 7 days and then you're free. I'm sure you're going to like how it feels to have unplugged from those negative influences.</span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">So this week, in particular, the guides had a very simple message. Be intentional. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Be intentional. What does this mean?</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">When we are intentional, we are decisive, precise, and focused. Decisive, precise, and focused. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>This is an interesting topic especially if lately you've been having trouble getting clear on what your message is. Maybe in your business or maybe on your blog, your story right on your page.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Or even clear about what major you want to choose in college or what's the right next career step for you. What kind of culture you desire to have in your business or at home with your family. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">What type of life you desire to create is what's at stake behind being intentional.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> When you set your intention, you put a stake in the ground to say, <em>"This is who I am and this is what I desire."</em> It's necessary to have that point of view set and clear so that the universe can support you in manifesting whatever you're creating. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Now if you're not intentional, this is what happens. You go with the motions. You leave things up to chance.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">You get frustrated when other people don't really do what you want but you expect them to magically know, according to social conventions or according to,<em> "Well, this is how I've done this for them, so they should just infer."</em> Or <em>"I wish I was understood."</em> Rather than being intentional about it.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1"> Decisive, clear, and precise.</span></strong></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong> It's hard because I feel in the energy as I share that with you, that there's this element of commitment phobia that comes up when I think about being intentional.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Well I have multiple commitments. I could do whatever. Anything that comes across my path, I should say yes to because that means I'm connected to that person, that organization, that idea. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">It helps me feel like I'm part of something bigger than just myself, and my own problems, my own world, my own limitations.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong> I get it, I feel you, and this week in particular, the guides are saying, <em>"It's time for you to draw a line in the sand."</em> Not just a line, let's say more like an X. X marks the spot. This is my intention.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Maybe it's in dating with this person that you've been going out with for a while. I really intend to get married so if that's not something that you're interested in, we don't need to keep talking. Or maybe with your friend who is only texting you and never calls. It's my intention to actually connect with you and what that actually means is hearing your voice or getting to hug you in person. This whole texting business, your friend or your children, this texting stuff, it doesn't work for me.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong> It's X marks the spot. Boom. We are super decisive, clear, and precise on what it is we desire.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">I'm starting to hear the oracle cards calling the energy in support of this but I want you to know that this actually takes courage to be intentional, to set an intention and go for it. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">It's different than goal setting. This is really about decisiveness.<br />
</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Decisiveness has this kind of commitment taboo sort of spooky feeling 'cause we've made decisions in the past or asked for things before, and it didn't go well or we didn't get what we wanted. Be kind to yourself. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">This is a week of healing through experience and experimentation. Experiment with being intentional. Set up an intention, follow it, and guess what? You can always change your mind.</span></strong></span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Couldn't resonate more with intentionality. Clear, right? In sharing. <em>"Creativity is sacred to the universe. Work this spell to all the enchanting power or creativity to move from your dreams, to reality in your life. If this spell has chosen you ..."</em> Which is what happened. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"><em>"The universe wishes you to understand that there are gifts that you, and only you, have to offer to the world. Take the time to work this spell's special magic so that you can come to understand what the gift is that you have to offer the world."</em></span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> So this is a wonderful ritual or an activity to bring out your unique brilliance, your creativity, and help you be more intentional. Authentically. Beautifully in alignment, this never gets old. Creativity spell, you ready? This is really simple.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1"><em> "Use the magical power of white light and breathe it in from the universe."</em> Imagine that there's white light all around you, that you can breathe in. <em>"Practice this until it becomes natural and true creativity will flow."</em></span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> This is your magical activity for this week in particular. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">Now, this is regardless of what your religious or spiritual beliefs are. It's just breathing in, imagining and breathing in white light. My guides say that this is a wonderful activity or spell, if you desire to call it that.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> This is a wonderful activity for being more intentional because it clears the decks and gets you back into your central flow. Your alignment. When you're being intentional, you have to be clear in where you're coming from in the first place to really put, <em>"Hey, X marks the spot right there. This is my intention."</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong> So try it out with me. Take a deep breath in, visualize this white light flowing into your body as you inhale. Exhaling white light right through you. Two more. Breathe in. Last one, breathing in more healing light.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Pause in this space, don't open your eyes yet if your eyes are closed. Relaxed. What do you desire? What was the first thing that came up for you? </span></p>
