"What is wrong with me?"
This week, you must know that it is not about you.
It's not about you. It never has been, it never will be, so from this point forward in time, you have got to stop taking it so seriously.
They told me, be more specific. You have got to stop taking him so seriously. You've got to stop taking her and what she does in her life and in her business, so personally, because it's not about you. It never has been, and it never will be.
Now perhaps someone has really been getting under your skin lately, or they've been throwing their anger your way, or getting very emotional, and clogging up your joy with all of their crusty crap.
Perhaps they talk stuff about you, or hating. (I don't really believe in hating.) But perhaps you feel like you may be getting hated on, or people writing smear stuff about you.
There's this insidious, internal, pre-programmed response that we have, unfortunately, to these interactions of:
Our ego turns us in on ourselves, because she's actually trying to protect you from stepping out when you're feeling vulnerable.
The reason why she brings you inward, blaming inward, "What's wrong with me? There's something wrong with me," taking everything outside of us, personally or very seriously, turning it inward, is a way, a shadow way, a dark way of centering you. Let me explain.
It's never been about you. Someone says, "You're doing this and the other thing, and I can't believe that this ..." They're throwing all that drama around and on you. That's actually them and their stuff.
If someone comments on your posts, and craps all over your sunshine parade, that is their problem. It's nothing that you did.
Maybe you did drop the ball. I just heard in the energy, perhaps you might have said something offensive, etc., but everyone chooses how to react, and how to respond to life.
That's their choice. It's on them. You don't have to take responsibility for how they feel.
You do need to own up to who you are and how you show up in this world, absolutely. Clean it up, if you made a mess. That's your mess, but you made that.
Whereas, if someone else makes a mess and starts blabbing about it or spewing all over you about it, that's their stuff.
I really don't know why the guides are having me say this in particular, this week. I know that I'm talking to someone, so I'm going to keep going with it, but this week, it's not about you.
Your business, by the way, if you're an entrepreneur, and you're thinking to yourself:
It's not about you. Come out of the ego cave and cage.
The shadow side of centering is reinforcing an identity, so that you can feel and create a sense of stability in your personal ... no, put it that way. The ego she'll bring you in, and be like, something that I did.
Whereas, this is about me, or what's wrong with me? Come out of that cave. There's more outside.
Instead, to flip that, where we're feeling not good enough, it's time to give more. There's so much more love, so much more value, so much more creativity and insight that you're capable of giving. It's about serving.
Tony Robins, I love his quote. "The secret to living is giving absolutely." That's the way to come out of an ego cave.
The guides are telling me to pull an Oracle card now. The deck that came forward in this week, is the crystal Oracle cards, in particular, to really weigh in on the topic of this situation.
It's really not about you. It's not about me. It's we. This week, in particular.
Someone just said, pull this card. Amber.
Look at how gorgeous. I love this deck, because it's all pictures. Juicy, juicy amber shot. They're telling me to read.
The words that they've associated with Amber are transparency, calm, purification, and creativity. Here's the reading: "An issue that is causing tension and friction in your life will soon erupt and come to a head."
I'm starting to get the chills. "You are being urged to stay calm during this emotionally-charged event. Express how you feel, but don't be drawn into saying things that you don't mean. This event is, in fact, a blessing. One that is perhaps well overdue."
You can't make this stuff up, people. This is amazing.
"Through it, you will realize where you stand, and how others truly feel. As the air clears, you will uncover a hidden agenda and find creative ways of handling this type of situation in the future. Stay calm, and don't allow yourself to be dragged further into chaos by others. You will emerge from this situation, feeling purified of all the negative emotions and thoughts that have weighted you down recently. Trust and remember it. This event is a blessing."
Here's where we're going to leave off.
Whatever disagreement, argument, or provocative conversation you are about to have this week, remember, it's not about me. This is about we.
Look for the lesson. There's always a dark gift, especially in difficult situations. They always teach us.
Keep your eyes open for the gift. Stay focused on the we. Don't be pulled into that ego cave.

]]>The post Love Letters | Revisit Your Why appeared first on Sensei Victoria Whitfield.
]]>It's natural to feel resistance on the path to personal and spiritual expansion — you're only human!
More often than not, it is because we have forgotten why we started in the first place. That's why we have to find best video production in Miami FL.
Watch this week's 13-minute love letter video to revisit your why, and discover the hidden power that you forgot you had!
"I don't remember why I started this in the first place."
This week in particular, The Guides are asking you to revisit your big why. Your big why.
So, if you haven't seen the TedX talk by Simon Sinek, called Start With Why, I highly recommend that after this Love Letter video you go check him out. He's a fantastic resource on inspirational leadership.
He's someone that I admire very much and get a lot of energy from his wonderful, wonderful teachings and philosophies but basically, the gist of his talk is that how we motivate ourselves and people in life is by sharing and be attuned to why we do what we do. Not what, not how but why?
Now, your big why might be the why behind why you had kids or the why behind why you got married or the why behind you being in business or the why behind your in this company. The why you believe what you believe.
But, your big why is an energetic resource. It's an energetic resource in your life. We got to remember what it is in order to derive energy from it.
Admittedly, I don't have the perfect memory, right? But, you remember your phone number. You remember your address hopefully. But, if you don't remember why you're doing what you're doing right now in the first place, your center, where you ground, your alignment, your essential energy in your alignment is off. It's a bit crunched.
That natural flow of juice, that creative inspirational juice that you get from being connected to your big why is pinched off from your lack of knowledge.
Maybe it's forgetting why you're doing what you're doing or you may not have even stated what your big why is in the first place. Maybe you genuinely don't know. It's not that you even forgot.
The title that The Guides asked for this Love Letter is revisit your why but I'm getting a vibe from who's watching right now, I don't know if this is you but you don't even know what your ... Why you're doing what you're doing. Why you're studying this in college or why you started your business other than, "I need money!" Right? Or, you don't even know why you really married the person. It's just like, "They asked and I was there and the priest and here we are 25 years later."
Going through the motions.
In a previous Love Letter we were talking about being intentional, which is really important. To set the stage that you're not just going through the motions in life but at this point in time, The Guides want you to revisit your why that can support you in being more intentional now.
It gives you a lot more energy and sauce, right? The juice. The juice, the fuel behind your decisions, behind how you speak and show up in life, behind your actions.
Want me to share with you my big why? Why I do what I do.
Here through the Dojo is because I believe that within every visionary leader is a creative being called the inner child who's the source of an unlimited amount of energy that one unleashed, can heal not only that person, herself/himself, but also all those who they come in contact with because they are a natural born leader.
Natural born leaders, I believe, are highly sensitive individuals. They're sensitized to things that other people just kind of don't pick up on. It's not that they're superior, they're just sensitive.
With that, I believe, that you as a visionary leader have got to heal your relationship with your inner child so that you can show up with that amount of energy, fully supported, abundant, and at ease as you get out there and serve the world in a bigger way.
What's behind all of what I do? Why I do what I do? The color, right? The shimmies, the rainbows and butterflies and jokes and silly pants ness. It's because I believe in making your inner child feel as safe as possible so that she can emerge from the traumatic shell that she went into because of whatever happened, she can emerge and unleash all of that inner power, that creative resource.
That flow, infinite flow of energy that you have inside of you. That is why I do what I do.
Simon very beautifully says that our big why often comes from our own pain and so, absolutely a big why comes from big pain. There's a thing that I witnessed in my childhood that caused me to forget from age eight back.
My life. It's like a dark cloud and so, since then, I've had to really explore what is identity? What is energy because I've always been naturally sensitive to people's emotions or a spiritual energy, food, sound.
I've always had this sensitized relationship to it. Why? Because my inner child is on super protective mode.
She doesn't want that scary thing to happen again so she's going to super sensitize me to all things around.
But, that has catapulted me to doing a deep dive, basically committing that for the rest of my life. I know I'm committed now, as much as I am since I first started, looking into what is energy? What is identity? What is psychology?
Learning more about philosophy and spiritual reality and how that effects each present moment so that I can show up as the best self that I can. The more I dove into healing my inner child, the more energy I had to show up in the world.
I don't know who I'll be in five, 10, 20 years from now but this was built intentionally over time. I didn't come out of the womb shimming.
The story goes when I came out of the womb I was over eight pounds. I was a big pink ball and they actually almost killed me that day to save my mother. That's another story but anyway.
Revisit your big why. Your big why often comes from a traumatic experience.
It doesn't mean that someone tried to kill you or you forgot your childhood or you got sexually assaulted or something like that. Your trauma might be the loss of face or humiliation in school or your family became wealthy but lost it all.
It could have been something that you saw, it didn't even happen to you but it was such an intense thing that you witnessed that it effected you irrevocably for the rest of your life.
Be kind to yourself because the inner child, she sits on this unlimited power called your vulnerability and creativity. Once that's unleashed, you have every resource at your fingertips but that's big magic.
Spooky scary if you're not used to being vulnerable. I'm starting to hear the oracle cards calling the energy around that but revisit your why.
Why did you start your business in the first place? From one business owner to another, why? What are you doing? Why are you doing what you're doing right now?
Why'd you buy your house in that area for the first place? Why did you buy that outfit? Why did you marry this person? Why did you pick this person to date? Why did you go to this school? Revisit your why.
Oracle cards deck is the indigo angel oracle cards. This is specifically designed for empathic, highly sensitive individuals who, because of their sensitivity, are being primed for leadership.
I don't think that's how Doreen Virtue puts it but, this is how The Guides tell me about being indigo and that's her term for being highly sensitive, is indigo, as a vibrational color, your chakra system.
Angels, what do we need to know right now about revisiting our why? Look through the situation.
Look through the situation. Now, I appreciate this. How she's gathering flowers. She's hard at work, got her bag on her back with the flowers that she's gathering. She's focused.
My Guides are saying, "In order for you to revisit your why, you've got to take your head up out of the details and look past what you're doing right now."
Your why is not going to be in the doing ness. It's not going to be in the actions. It's a feeling and it's a big vision task so, you've got to step back this week in particular so that you can revisit your why. Recapture that energy and unleash your inner child so that you can get out there and serve and heal in a big way.
I believe in you and I'm here to support you. That's why I do what I do. That's why I specialize in it. I want to hear your why. Comment below or send me an email, SenseiVictoriaWhitfield@gmail.com.
I want to hear, what's your big why? What did you forget? Did you forget it? Was this for you?
Is this your periodic alarm clock go, "Ding, ding, ding. What's your why?" Make sure you subscribe on YouTube so that you get your Love Letters first every week.
All right, and you're ready for it. Mwuah. Bye. See you soon.
In Love and Light,
Victoria.
