<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This week in particular we are on week three of four in a deep dive around what is grounding and how to really live a grounded life.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong> Last week we spoke about physical grounding, knowing the symptoms of being physically ungrounded.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Now that was only a partial list. A complete list is here in my "Natural Intuition Now" book. It's much more comprehensive. We have list after lists of more and more things to look out for, so go ahead on Amazon.com, order that. That's book one by the way for beginners, "Natural Intuition Now" book one. It's on Amazon.com. In two days it'll be at your doorstep if you've got prime.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"> So for today in particular we are talking about emotional and mental grounding. </span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Last week we looked at making sure that we're cleansing so that we're physically connected to our nature so that our bod's an open channel for allowing empathic energy to flow to and through us, not getting clogged up even on a physical level, right?</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong> For emotional and mental symptoms of being ungrounded, what that looks like is anxiety, depression, racing repetitive thoughts, negative self-talk, a pessimistic mindset, really set against understanding or being open-minded, like having a closed mindset.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">These are symptoms of being mentally and emotionally ungrounded. Why? </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Because on a mental and emotional level, you're going against your nature. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">So having pent up feelings for example and not being able to be emotionally accessible or expressive is also symptoms of being emotionally ungrounded. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">Remember, being grounded is being connected to our nature, our zero, our neutral set point.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> How can we, this week in particular, get more connected to being emotionally and mentally grounded? Maybe you do have the racing thoughts. Maybe it's hard for you to focus naturally, right? There's just so much going on in your head. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">I've even had clients where, <em>"Victoria, I don't even want to try meditating because I don't know what I'm going to find once I start digging."</em> I don't know, they'll have this fear which is another symptom of being emotionally and mentally ungrounded. </span><span class="s1">So what exactly can we do?</span></strong></p>

<h2 class="p1"><a href="https://ctt.ec/wMfnx"><strong><span class="s1">Know this: Fear is a symptom of being mentally &amp; emotionally ungrounded.</span></strong></a></h2>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Now there are many things that you can go about that. Again in the book there's list after list after list of things that you can do for emotional and mental grounding, but this week in particular my guides are saying the technique to observe yourself in this week is around your relationship with time.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"> Time actually doesn't exist. Time is emotion. </span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Time is emotion. Sure, there's like a clock, right? </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">I watch the clock and stuff while I'm speaking to you or holding space for the sessions here so I can be the time goods to keep you grounded emotionally however is why I do that, because how stressful does that feel, how much negative emotion comes up when people are running over or someone is taking up more of your time.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong>How refreshing emotionally does that feel when we're ending even on time or even just a little bit early so there's just enough for me to get up, stretch myself, and release we were just doing.</strong></p>
<p class="p1">How compressed does the emotion feel when it's a tense environment? How compressed as in slow moving does time move when the air in the room is tense?</p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong>Maybe there's an argument at work or maybe at home there's a lot of stress in the environment. All that emotional, thoughtful tense energy causes things to creep along. Whereas if we're happy, we're rocking out, we're having a good time, a party, wherever. Suddenly time flies.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1">Time is emotion.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> So this week in particular the guides are suggesting, take it or leave it, take your time for emotional and mental grounding. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>When you're trying to express yourself, make sure that you pause powerfully, allow yourself space to gather your thoughts, to arrange your ideas.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Also allow yourself emotional space as in making time for, if you have some negative emotion such as grief, frustrating, giving yourself time for expressing that in the right kind of safe environment for you.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> But this week in particular it's making time because if you are rushing, you're actually ungrounding yourself mentally and emotionally. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">That's why it's harder to focus when you feel rushed actually because you're ungrounded. You're moving against your nature. Slow down and take your time this week in particular.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> By the way, we have other love letters called Pause Powerfully and Slow Down. I've done so many love letters over the last few years. So you can do YouTube searches just to check those out for a little bit more on those topics. </span></p>

<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">Oh! Abundancia, Prosperity. The universe is pouring its abundance out to you. Be open to receive.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Now I don't know if like the camera is backwards when you're looking at this, but this is such a powerful message to receive around emotional and mental grounding. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>You have an abundance of time. There's always more. There's an infinite supply, right? Thinking abundantly helps you to relax.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Having an abundant mindset opens up your energy and connects you more to nature. Does a tree ever think twice about growing its leaf? No. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">It just allows the abundance of air and chemicals to pass through it, and it continues producing, reproducing in that cosmic dance of life.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"> Abundance. Having an abundant mindset is so powerful for allowing yourself to feel more emotionally and mentally grounded. </span></strong></span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>This week, Source is saying that you need to go on a diet. Not a food diet, no; but actually an information diet. Let me explain.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Maybe recently, have you noticed that there's more and more reports about negative news? Maybe you've been hearing more drama stories at work, or with your friends, or maybe; have you been reading a book that's like really emotional and dramatic and intense.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">At the same time, have you noticed that you've been feeling a little bit more anxious, frustrated, annoyed, sad, or even depressed? Maybe even restless or really angry recently.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The two are related.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>This is what the Guides want you to know this week, is that the information that you take into you, affects you, the same way that if you eat a certain diet, that let's say, is not in alignment with your best health.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Whatever that means for you; your feelings, your physical feelings in your body, such as in your joints or in your belly, or in your chest, or in your sinus, will be affected. Your body lets you know that what you put into her, has an affect on her.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">In a dramatic sense, if you drink something that you shouldn't have, or if you eat some bad food, she'll let you know by bringing it back up and out, all right, because that's what your body does to respect yourself; or chemo receptive sense, pushes the bad chemicals or the negative energy out of her when we're at above the level of tolerance.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>The same happens with your mind.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This weekend particular, you need to watch,<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span><em>"What am I putting into my head?"</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Do you notice maybe in your Facebook or Twitter feed there's all these really annoying people, or really heavy news reports, or maybe you've been watching a certain TV or movie series, that really is just violent or intense?</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">If you've been putting information into you that is of a lower vibration, it has an effect on your mind set and on your emotions.</span></strong></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>As we're speaking right now, the energy is saying you know exactly what to watch out for.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">You know exactly which information channels; maybe it's the news, maybe it's the Facebook feed, maybe it's the Twitter feed, maybe it's that's website that you always go to look up stuff, or maybe it's that one person who you always ask, <em>"What's going on with so-and-so?"</em></span></p>

<li class="p1"><span class="s1">I've created new and wonderful deepened relationships with my family</span></li>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">I now know hundreds and hundreds of people personally, and have touched hundreds of lives.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span class="s1">If I were to appreciate what I've done in the last year, I'd run out of time on this video.</span></p>

Maybe you've been hearing more drama stories at work, or with your friends, or maybe; have you been reading a book that's like really emotional and dramatic and intense. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">At the same time, have you noticed that you've been feeling a little bit more anxious, frustrated, annoyed, sad, or even depressed? Maybe even restless or really angry recently.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The two are related. </span></p>

<p>Everybody and their mother in the personal development, self-help and health and &nbsp;wellness industries tell us to think positive as much as we can.</p>
<p>But what do we do when we feel fake and ungrounded in doing so? Or what happens if only looking at the positive causes communication problems?</p>

<p style="text-align: right;"><strong><span style="color: #800080;">Fake it 'til you make it.</span></strong></p>
<p>Many well-known authors and speakers, when trying to convey the power of positive thinking to readers and audiences for the first time, tend to suggest just pretending to be positive, if you can't quite feel it in the moment, to&nbsp;practice raising your mindset.</p>
<p>However, Spirit spoke this week about problems that arise with this kind of forced positive thinking over time, because it can create an unfortunate connection between being and feeling inauthentic with being and feeling positive.</p>
<p><strong>Make no mistake: inauthenticity always puts a cap on your vibration and destabilizes your energy.</strong></p>
<p>Why is this important to know right now? Because you're not stupid. 🙂 You can tell when the feeling is real and you can tell when it's fake.</p>
<p>The problem comes in when we maintain this practice of "faking it 'til you make it" as part of our routine, rather than using it as a quick, temporary stepping stone. What was meant to be an exercise to kick-start your mindset becomes part of your identity, and the effects of that are detrimental to your energy.</p>

<p><strong>One of the effects of "faking it 'til you make it" is: it creates emotional <em>limitations,</em> instead of expansion.</strong></p>
<p>Being super-positive and "blissed out" -- as the yoga tribe calls it -- all the time feels great and is addictive because of the emotional high it can give.</p>
<p>However, becoming addicted to this feeling can have an ungrounding effect on your emotions and your life, because other parts of reality (such as small but serious things that need to get done like, oh say, your taxes) tend to get silenced by the sheer force of your high vibes and high emotions.</p>
<p>Sometimes it's appropriate and even downright essential that you be able to tune into the darker side of life. Being open to engaging -- but not getting sucked into -- depression, anger, grief and other uncomfortable feelings is a necessary ingredient in being vulnerable in a healthy way (aka. emotionally accessible and available).</p>
<p><strong>Another problem, therefore, with imbalanced positive thinking is that it can emotionally numb you.</strong></p>
<p>Now, we are talking in an extreme sense, here; as in someone who refuses to see the negative or acknowledge that there are things that just aren't going right, because they are too scared to confront the truth head-on.</p>
<p>Many sensitive, spiritual and caring empathic people like us get into this head-space where we avoid (aka. refuse) acknowledging that there's a serious issue at hand that really "should" be addressed, because it doesn't fit within our positive, feel-good outlook.</p>
<p><span style="color: #800080;"><strong>Numbing yourself by stubbornly focusing on only the positive can, in some situations, numb you to receiving the spiritual guidance and development you need to move forward.<br />
</strong></span></p>

<p>Be kind to yourself, because this isn't something that is not commonly talked about in the wellness and personal development industry. And by the way, this isn't an invitation to turn into a serial pessimist or steaming poo-flinging monkey. LOL!</p>
<p><strong>What we are really honing in on here is being honest. Being honest with yourself, first, that is.</strong></p>
<p>Honesty, experiencing and expressing it, is a throat and solar plexus chakra issue. It's about living your truth (solar plexus chakra) and being able to express it freely and appropriately (throat chakra).</p>

<p>It's about learning to ground your positive outlook, so you can develop the ability to Respond authentically, rather than React spontaneously, to your experiences.</p>
<p>Having an ungrounded or "airy-fairy" fake positive outlook is only the product of people-pleasing behavior.</p>
<p><span style="color: #800080;"><strong>Wanting to look relaxed and positive to others, and being and feeling positive yourself are two entirely different things.<br />
</strong></span></p>
<p>The main difference between the two shows up in your behavioral patterns. Can you express disagreement or stand up for yourself with ease, or do you have to blow up before you speak up?</p>
<p>If you find yourself staying silent when you should stand up for yourself because you mainly focus on loving people and don't want to be confrontational, then this Love Letter is for you. Balance it out!</p>
