<p>In an alternate, negative universe, everybody wins when you sabotage your own progress, and everybody wins when you are distracted.</p>



<p>You win because you are off the hook and don't have to deal with upsetting your status quo.<br>Others win for the same reason; they are let off the hook not having to deal with you upsetting their status quo.</p>



<p>And, anyone who is seeking power and control over you and others wins, because the less progress you make, and the less you have the ability to focus, the more you are a compliant pawn in helping them realize their agenda.</p>



<p>My spirit guides say that if you are reading this email though, the above idea makes your skin crawl, because the last thing you want is to be somebody else's pawn, let alone make no progress and have everything remain the same.<br><br>You and me both!<br><br>But if that's the case, then why are you allowing yourself to be distracted so often, especially while doing what you love or spending time with people you love?&nbsp;<br><br>I'll tell you why: focus is a CHOICE and a skill to be developed.</p>

<p>Technology rewards us for handing over our ability to make our own choices on what to pay attention to because we are currently living in the Age of Attention.<br>Read that sentence again.</p>



<p>Notifications, pop ups, funnels, commercials, apps, ai-driven data results, social media doom scrolling, algorithms, tracking cookies and ads guide our decisions on what to focus on through a constant stream of interruptions.</p>



<p>Calculated colors, sounds, branding, haptics (the vibrations of your device), editing and catchy sayings stimulate our senses to trigger pleasure sensations in the brain and associate Their Choice with pleasure.&nbsp;</p>



<p>This influences what we focus on, without us even knowing most of the time.</p>



<p>And, "wherever your awareness goes, energy flows" so that means your energy is being siphoned away from what you want to focus on and instead to Their Choice for you to focus on, so that your energy can fuel the realization of Their agenda.</p>



<p>Who are "They"? It doesn't matter; They are not YOU.</p>



<p>Just for today, focus on YOU and Your unique point of view, on moving the needle forward on Your agenda and choosing Your Choice.</p>

<h2><strong>This is week five of five in our deep dive into shifting our perspective, and we’ve been discussing the exact mechanics of how to shift our perspective so that we can step into our divinity fully in life and business.</strong></h2>
<p>For week five, my guides have asked me to speak to you on a pivot topic as we prepare for our next series of love letter videos. But before I get to the topic, if this is the first of the series that you are seeing, make sure you pause, go back on my blog at victoriawhitfield.com and start from week one so that you are grounded in this process.</p>
<p><strong>This week, my guides have shown me that we need to talk about the empath trap. Don't fall for the empath trap. </strong>And I see this is shockingly prevalent, the more I've been going live on Facebook, actually. If you haven't seen my Facebook page, where I'm dropping what I call #lovebombs for you, then youre missing out on some real activating inspiration. They really, really add a pep to your step and wake you up if you've been kind of asleep at the wheel in life and business.</p>
<p>What I found is that the more that I've been going live, the more I find people from all over the world falling into the empath trap. And here's what it is: where you expect somebody else to make you feel better. Now, that's it in a nutshell, but I'd like to just clarify a little bit more of that. First of all, if you don't know what an empath is, let's start there because that's jargon, right?</p>
<p><strong>An empath is someone who is an emotional sponge. It's different than empathy. </strong>With empathy, you choose to see a situation through somebody else's eyes. You use your mind, your mental acrobatics abilities to construct the idea of what it would be like to walk in somebody else's shoes. You choose to do that, and that's compassionate, that's awesome, and develops rapport.</p>
<p>But someone who's an empath has the ability to really feel what others are going through, emotionally and physically, and it happens against their will. So that means, if someone's coming in in a grumpy mood, all the sudden, the person in the room who's an empath will start feeling grumpy, and they were fine before. Or if somebody has a headache, the person who's an empath will start feeling like their head hurts, or another part of their body is suddenly hurting too, not because they're mentally unstable or something like that, but because the way that their body is wired is that they're a sponge. They soak in the physical and emotional feelings of others in their environments.</p>
<p><strong>We see this in the animal kingdom as well, not just amongst people. </strong>Think of dogs and cats. If you have a dog or a cat, it's not that they can speak English, necessarily, but have you ever noticed that they feel sad when you feel sad? Or they can sense in their bodies if something's not quite right with you? It's amazing because animals are highly empathic. It's our birthright as beings here on earth, being empathic. It's another sense that we have, to be able to sense the emotional and physical feelings of others around us, because it's another form of communication.</p>

<p>Now, in more recent years, in the New Age, Metaphysical, spiritual-but-not-religious sort of soul-seeking communities online or the self-help or Angel Healing, energy healing and etc. groups online, there's this whole philosophy and subculture around being an empath that says, "Oh, you're special and you need special help. And we got to band together and got to protect and got to read all these books" and similar stuff like that. What I found is, when I'm going live on Facebook, I'll attract more empaths as viewers because I am one, and I understand that. But those who have fallen into the empath trap think that other people are going to solve their problem for them, or ease their symptoms, or give them the answers that they're seeking.</p>
<p><strong>And when we're committed to shifting our perspective so that we can finally step into, meaning claim, the power of our divinity in life and business, we're not waiting for somebody else to come to the rescue. </strong>In the words of the fabulous Lisa Nichols, the mantra is, “I am my rescue." It's so important, as an empath, to honor the fact that you have power.</p>
<p>So if someone's sharing, like myself, intuitive readings or channelings or insights or talking about psychic development and so on and so forth, and you feel like, "Okay, this person has answers. Hey, you tell me blah blah blah about my parent who's passed on" or "Hey, you look at my aura and see if there's any blockages in it," then be kind to yourself: that's actually disempowering for you. That doesn't enable you to step into your divinity. Instead, that puts the onus on the other person and gives your power away.</p>
<p><strong>I want you to know that you have power and that this is the week that you are going to get out of that empath trap. </strong>Because when it comes down to it, an imbalanced or dysfunctional empath feels good when others feel good or feels bad when others feel bad. That always puts you at a disadvantage. Please take your power back!</p>
<p>We're going to go more into this in the next series, but for now, we’re here at beautiful Washington Rock in the dead of winter to really open up and get that nature energy to help us process and reclaim our expansive power. <p><strong>Here's where we're going to leave off for the week: Claim your ability to take control of your life. </strong>Claim your ability to create your life by design, to tune into Source, to plug in to Spirit. You can do this. Awaken your divine perception. You have it by birthright. You don't have to get it from somebody else secondhand. It's yours. You can cut out the middleman.</p>

<h2><strong>This is week four of five of our deep dive into shifting our perspective, so that we can step into our divinity, finally, in life and business.</strong></h2>

<p><strong>For our fourth week, my spirit guides have said that we need to talk about the importance of knowing what is no longer tolerable. </strong>Last week, we really sank our teeth into our role, and knowing it clearly. We honored who we are and what our purpose is here on Earth: to be that guide, that light, that only you can shine, or only I can shine, from my own unique story, and yours within yours.</p>
<p>We're here, again, at Washington Rock in the dead of winter. It is a very foggy day, so normally we are able to see between 20 to 30 miles out. You might have seen that in the previous videos. But, this is so good, that the weather has shifted to be even more foggy, because this now brings the perspective inward. Right? That's a message and a representation of our intention right now, is to be very clear, inwardly, of what is no longer acceptable.</p>
<p><strong>At your previous point of perspective of where you were coming from before, perhaps there were certain people, certain behaviors, certain foods, and certain investments that you were engaging in, that were acceptable. </strong>They were part of your standard operating procedure. And, when we get to a certain point of development, or achieve a certain level of success, there is this expectation that what's been working is going to continue to work.</p>
<p>Now, if you keep doing the same thing and expecting different results, however, that is unfortunately the definition of insanity. There's real satisfaction, there is real fulfillment in having progress, meaning, when we get to grow from our experiences. So, when we're called for to expansion and ascension, personally or professionally, that involves changing what our definition of what is tolerable.</p>
<p><strong>I'm not exactly sure who this message is for. But, I want you, since you're watching or reading this right now, I want you to consider, “What am I tolerating?”</strong></p>
<p>Ask yourself “what am I tolerating in my personal life?” for example, that is keeping me at this level of weight, or in this type of relationship. “What am I tolerating? Am I tolerating people talking down to me, or telling me how things need to be? Or, am I tolerating the reaction that my body has to certain foods, such as gluten?” for example. What are you tolerating personally, that could be reinforcing the same sick cycle recurring and recurring personally, but also professionally?</p>
<p><strong>What are you tolerating? </strong>Are you tolerating receiving a certain level of income, because other people said you should be satisfied with that? Or, if you look to your right and you look to your left, that's what everybody else makes. And that's what everybody else is saying is “acceptable.” Are you tolerating that? Or are you tolerating, also professionally, a mentor or an authority figure that might rub you the wrong way in some key areas, but because other things are really great, you overlook that? You instead, stay, and follow their rules, but murmur about the things that bother you, on your off time or in quiet moments to yourself, or confidants.<br />

<p>Be kind of yourself if that's your situation: that you're tolerating things. That can be a coping mechanism, to create a sense of stability, and I'm hearing this very loud and very aligned in the energy, to tell you that in order to create stability finally for yourself, you may have remove more tolerations from off your plate.</p>
<p><strong>Be kind to yourself. There's a difference between telling yourself what’s acceptable and actually having clarity. </strong>When you're just accepting what you've been handed to you, there's a of lack of innovation there, a lack of agency. You don't have to give away your power. When you are clear that “this is what I want”, or clear that “this is how I feel”, and you voice that, as well as stand true to that, yes, it may trigger some people, or may ruffle some feathers, or make things a little unstable for a time. But, that's temporary, because you're getting back into alignment, putting yourself back at the center at which you deserve to be.</p>
<p>I'm hearing the oracle cards calling in the energy. All month we've been journeying with the Isis Oracle Cards Deck by Alana Fairchild, and I'll make this quick, because my fingers are freezing. Happy winter everyone! Let's see. Oh, gorgeous. <em>Initiation. Spiritual testing of Ra and lady Isis.</em>This is where we are going to leave off for the week.</p>
<p><strong>The reason why you're shifting your perspective this week in particular, by getting clear on what is no longer tolerable and what you're no longer going to be tolerating, is because you're on a path to Initiation. </strong>This is your time. This is the time for you to shift. Not later, it's now. It's now.</p>
<p>And, when you decide that a certain thing is no longer acceptable, that activates your inner power. I can tell that to you from my own story, when I personally decided that being in an abusive relationship - which was most emotionally and, at times, financially, and even physically abusive - when I decided that was no longer acceptable, I was not going to tolerate this anymore, my whole life changed. I had behaviors, such as leaving that person and investing more in my own self-worth, and raising my confidence level, I had behaviors that followed through with that, because it was unequivocal.</p>
<p><strong>I decided I'm not tolerating this anymore. </strong>Similarly, my behaviors shifted when I personally decided that smoking was no longer something I was going to tolerate as a behavior of mine, and being around people who smoke regularly was not acceptable either. I had asthma, and it would exacerbate my asthma. Since I quit my breathing has been so much better, and the quality of relationships that I have around me have been so much better, too.</p>

<p><strong>This is week three of five in our deep dive around stepping into our divinity. And this week in particular, the message from the spirit guides for all of us is to Know Your Role. </strong>It’s the dead of Winter at the filming of this Love Letter, and we're at Washington Rock State Park in New Jersey. Beautiful, almost 30-mile view. Little bit foggy today in particular, but this is a sacred space for me to clear my head. Many people come here just to enjoy the view and be reverent and silent. Though we're in Central Jersey here, you can see all the way to New York City on a clear day.</p>
<p>Beautiful, isn't it? I want to share this beautiful space with you so that you can take it all in; if you don't have the opportunity to get outside and to clear your energy and to be in nature, or if you're like, "Well, it's too cold," this is for you. By the way, comment below if you appreciate it or if you have a special sacred space that you go to outdoors to clear your energy. There are eagles circling around above me here. Wonderful. Powerful shamanic image.</p>
<p><strong>Today, we're talking about knowing our role. When we don't know our role, we end up constantly being in search of someone to come and save us in this lifetime, to do things that we need done for us. </strong>Not in the sense of claiming our power as being a leader, and being above certain tasks that others would be so happy to help us with. But instead we are hot potato-ing our responsibility, hot potato-ing our personal growth and development onto others, saying, "Please certify me so that I'm worthy," for example. Or, "Please love and approve of me, or choose me so that I'm finally worthy."</p>
<p>That's not your role. My guides have told me to remind you that your role is actually to be a light and a guide yourself in this lifetime. You were meant to shine bright, that light of who you are, so that others can see it and then be inspired to turn on their lights and shine as well. What does that mean, in particular, to be the light or to be a guide yourself? It means being conscious of how your perspective, as we discussed in previous weeks, how your perspective connects with and affects others.</p>
<p><strong>In the first two weeks, we really got clear within ourselves around what it takes to step into our divinity. </strong>Firstly, stepping back and taking in more of the grand scheme of things. The larger view of your life and what you're doing with it, and of your business, and what you're doing with it, and why. And then secondly, we made it really small, as distilled as possible if you can, on to a three by three sticky. A simple sticky note.</p>
<p>But where we're at now, is remembering. Now that we have this clarity, if you do ... And, by the way, remember to share it with me, I'd love to hear what clarity you got. Now that we have that, is to remember that our role is to shine and to guide others.<br />

<p><strong>The vision that I get for this in particular on how we do that, how we know our role and how we bring it into us in a really powerful way, is an image of the lighthouse.</strong> Here's a flagpole, as an example, again this is a monument to where George Washington stood to watch the opposing armies in American history. But a monument, or a lighthouse, stays stationary. It stands firm. It has a firm base. It's very powerfully connected to the earth. Knows its roots, right? And does not move from them. Yet, at the same time, stands head and shoulders above. Sticks out on purpose, to be a marker for what is possible.</p>
<p>Now, be kind to yourself if you, like I in my own humanity, have found yourself maybe in your business throwing away responsibility or trying to throw money at whoever can figure out your problems or who looks like or talks like they've figured out your problems. First, be kind to yourself. That's not your role.</p>
<p><strong>Your role is not to give away your power. But, instead, it's to stand firm in it and deal, find a way to deal, with remaining visible as the lighthouse that you are.</strong> You are not just a monument, but you're a lighthouse. Lighthouses shine. And they shine for a reason, constantly, to help others who are trying to find their way. Do you see? It's just being who you are. You don't do it because others are lost and finding their way. But you do it because of who you are. You shine your light because of that.</p>
<p>With that, I'm hearing the Oracle Card calling in the week. Calling in the energy. Again, for these five weeks, we're journeying with Isis Oracle Cards by Alana Fairchild to really help us continue to open up to that powerful transformative energy of which the Goddess Isis is an archetype. And the Oracle Card of the week is, ooh, Chariots of Ascension. It's gorgeous. A beautiful purple Merkabah. <em>“Chariot of Ascension. Spiritual work of the higher initiate.” </em>Here's where we're going to leave off this week.</p>
<p><strong>You're called to ascend. This is not a descent.</strong>What you're being called into is not you coming down or lowering yourself for anyone else to make them feel comfortable or acceptable, or for you to appear acceptable to them. No, you're being called to ascend, become even more of who you are. And because of that, like the Merkabah, you become a chariot, a vehicle. A vehicle for others to do the same.</p>
<p>Now, I know we're talking about all these wonderful, high-spiritual concepts. But you and I own businesses. So, I'm curious: how are you going to increase or turn up the volume on your light, your passion, your purpose, and who you really are in your business this week? Or what areas in your business are you going to stop turning down, coming down, and diminishing yourself in?</p>

<h2><strong>We're back here at Washington Rock State Park for the continuation of our five-part series around perspective and stepping into your divinity in life and business.</strong></h2>
<p>This week in particular, my guides have asked me to talk to you about making one big idea sticky. <em>One&nbsp;</em>big idea. Last week, we talked about the power of stepping back, making sure that we're taking in that 20-mile view of our lives, first. And this is the perfect setting to discuss that because we've got a good 20 or 30-mile view here at Washington Rock State Park.</p>
<p><strong>It's important also to be out in nature to allow your surroundings to help your mindset to expand.&nbsp;</strong>That's what we discussed last week, the power of stepping back, first, if we're really going to step in to our divinity. Whether it's this month, this year, or in this era of your life, we need to step back, first. And so, this week in particular, we want to take that perspective, that massive perspective, and whittle it down into one idea. Again, it's the dead of winter and I’m outside here for you, so I'm going to make this quick. Lol!</p>
<p>The idea, the exercise this week that my guides gave me for you so that you can make that big perspective small and to make it really stick in your heart and mind is kind of the inverse of what we did last week. Being here at Washington Rock we're using the space, we're using the openness, the vastness of the environment to open our hearts and minds, or wherever you go. Maybe for you, it's going to the ocean. Or, maybe for you, it's going skiing or going up onto the rooftop wherever you are. <p><strong>This week, instead, what we're going to do is use space to help us make a big idea small and sticky; what’ I’m talking about quite literally is a sticky pad.&nbsp;</strong>What is this pad, I’d guess about three inches or around three centimeters square? This is the amount of space to which that you have to whittle down your idea, and I recommend writing with big letters. Big ideas are best distilled down into about six words maximum, so I challenge you to do that on behalf of the spirit guides to really help you focus on your path to stepping into your divinity.</p>

<p><strong>With that, I'm going to go ahead and pull the oracle card of the week.&nbsp;</strong>We're journeying over these five weeks with the Isis Oracle Cards Deck by Alana Fairchild. Let's see here. What've we got? ...Ooh, awesome! “<em>Soul retrieval. Deep soul healing with the goddess.”</em></p>
<p>I’m just going to tune in for a second now, to hear what’s the message: Guides, what do we need to know about soul retrieval and deep soul healing with the goddess? ...The first thing that drops in for me as I tune in for you is <em>Reunion.</em>The more that you give yourself time and space – and I mean like compressed space, or even compressed time – the more you give yourself time and space to get clarity, the more you reunite with more of who you really are.</p>
<p><strong>This says soul retrieval, and it means that the more that we give ourselves these experiences and commit to actually doing the work, the more of our own power that we may have lost or forgotten along the way – whether in this lifetime or, depending on your beliefs, in other lifetimes – the more that we give ourselves time to reunite and get that clarity, the more we recover.&nbsp;</strong>Robert Bly describes soul as something “low and wet”, whereas spirit is something high and dry, high and bright. Soul is that which motivates us, brings us passion, joy, love, emotion, gives us strength to go on no matter what our lessons, whether they've been hard won, or from the parts of us that we may have rejected.</p>
<p>When we're recovering soul, this is really about us connecting to our deep passions, and how beautiful would it be if we're able to reconnect to our passion at work? As entrepreneurs, we have got to be motivated on what's our Big Why, right? This week in particular, this challenge is made simple by the spirit guides: to make sure that you use a simple, little sticky note to try and figure that Big Why out.</p>

<p>Type-A personalities tend to have a hard time really resting and feeling relaxed because they’re wired to value getting as many things done as possible above their feelings and wellbeing.</p>
<p>This can lead to chronic anxiety and stress, as well as cycles of depression and burnout if left unchecked.</p>
<p><span style="color: #008080;"><strong>Watch this week’s 10-minute Love Letter video, the third in our 4-week series on Your Daily PRP’s, to put an end to this vicious cycle and instead adopt a practice of restful productivity.<br />

<p style="text-align: right;"><em><span style="color: #800080;"><b>"I feel lazy when I take breaks."</b></span></em></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This is week three of four in our four-week series on Your Daily PRPs.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1"> If you don't know what PRP stands for, stop the video now and go back to week one where we explained exactly what PRPs are and why you need them. So, without further ado, if you do know what's going on, this week in particular we're going to cover the second letter in that acronym PRP, the R which stands for "Rest."</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> The reason why we get our daily PRP nutrition in is so that you have the energy and the stamina to pursue your passion and purpose for the long haul. This, when you implement is as a proactive regularized practice, whether it is on a daily basis or weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, right? However you schedule it in for yourself, it will stave off or even put an end to cycles of burnout, being overworked, feeling cranky, overwhelmed, and pushing yourself past your limit.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong> In particular, this week that we're talking about with rest is having restful productivity. I know that kind of sounds like an oxymoron, if I have any of my type As watching. Yay. All my creepy control enthusiasts, all my perfectionistas, yes, yes, where everything has got to be perfect. Be kind to yourself if that's you.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">You might be burning the candle at both ends by adopting the type A, get it done perfectly as fast as possible, as efficiently as possible all the time. There's a way to be restful and productive at the same time.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1"> Now, my guides have given me a four-step process to share with you this week in particular so that you can get to implementing restful productivity, so that you have the stamina to pursue your passion and purpose for the long haul. You ready for it?</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Number one, unplug. Write this down, by the way. Get a pen and pad or open up another window, whatever you guys do or ... inscribe it on your brains. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Number one, unplug. In order to rest but also to be fully productive, your ability to focus, not just on a mental level but also a physical level is called for and unplugging is necessary. What does that mean? No TV, phone, tablet, laptop, computer, no plugging into technology. The less technology period you can be around ...</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1">I was just talking about stuff that makes you connected to the worldwide webs-y things and cables and stuff. But if you wanna go completely native and have candlelight and all of that, the campfire, great. But, for those of us who are not able to do that, just unplug. Make it a point to unplug so that you can be focused on being restfully productive.</p>

<h2 class="p1"><a href="https://ctt.ec/ev46r">‪Know this: You can be restful AND productive.</a></h2>
<h2 class="p1"><a href="https://ctt.ec/ev46r"><img decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-2243" src="https://victoriawhitfield.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/tweetbutton-300x129.gif" alt="tweetbutton" width="150" height="64" /></a></h2>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong> Secondly, and this takes courage, it's time for you to rage. So, how are you going to rage? For some people it's getting at that heavy bag, and pow, pow, pow, pow. Let that bag have what it had coming! But, I also highly recommend that you use a written medium for your rage. So, have a rage journal. I have a rage journal, by the way.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Or, grab a piece of toilet paper and start writing on that, all the things that you hate, that annoy you, that make you angry, and cranky and frustrated. Write it out, write it out, write it out. Or, all those extra brown paper bags, time to write all over them. Write of all the things that you wanna get out of you and rage about. This is cathartic clearing. So, that's really going to help you be restful but it's also productive because you're bringing stuff up and out, getting it out of you.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"> Thirdly, is to release. The way that you release this practice is you can close the journal and leave it behind for a little bit, if you are okay with that. Or, if you need ultra secrecy take that toilet paper, flush it down the toilet. Let the crap go where it's supposed to, down the toilet pipes, right? Or, with your brown paper bag, rip it up into tiny pieces or even throw it in the fire pit and watch it burn. Bye-Bye! Right? Burn that crusty crap away.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> So, release all of that energy that came out of you. Then leave it be. That you could do it for an hour, leave it be for an hour afterward, or even entire day, or week, who knows? What's important is the fourth and final step, and this is what makes it super productive, is to review. What came out of you, what you raged about, what makes you angry is actually what I call a dark gift, meaning a gift that comes in a darker kind of, not very attractive package, right? It's a learning gift. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1"> So, the things that you raged about are signs and hints at where your boundaries are being overstepped. If you have any boundaries with love, right? Where you need more support in your life, in your business, or in your relationships. Where your desires are not being met. There's so much clarity that comes from raging and releasing and the review, that's fourth and final step, is essential for you grounding and receiving all of the gifts that came out of this restful productivity process at the end.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> So, this is how to find your way through the resting process. Those of us who are type As, we tend to go on vacation, or enjoy the spa or have downtime and we're being as productive and go, go, go, as possible. We can't seem to turn off, can't seem to let go, because we gotta do everything on the list that we said we were going to do.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong> The reason why that happens is because you have pent up rage that you haven't released yet. So, this is your four steps process to be restful and productive. And you can do this. You can work it in, in many ways on a daily basis, in a little bit bigger ways on a weekly basis, more of a significant time space on the monthly or quarterly basis or once a year. Give yourself a bunch a time to really enjoy the sacred process.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> So, I'm hearing the oracle cards calling in the energy. So, angels, what do we need to know right now about restful productivity as our daily PRP? Calling in your soulmate. Calling in your soulmate. Your prayers, affirmations, and visualizations help bring you together. This is where we're going to leave off for the week.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1"> The reason why calling in your soulmate is coming up, is because when we clear our energy, when we clear all of that rage and inflammatory thoughts and feelings, when we release our emotions, we create the space to receive our divine partnerships. First with ourselves! Remember, all of this is really about your relationship with you. But, also, for those around us we're more receptive to their love and their support, whether it's in personal or professional relationships.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> So, calling in a partner who's able to meet those needs that you discovered weren't being met yet, starting with you being that partner for you. Comment below, send me an email back. What comes up for you around that? </span></p>

<p>My guides to told me to “pull back on the arrow,” so that I could go forward full force with renewed energy. For me, that means being unplugged, so I'm going to teach you a little bit more about that before I share with you a special initiative that's going on here at the dojo.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>At the filming of this video, it's July in 2019, and we are getting ready for yet another Mercury Retrograde, starting July 7 and ending July 31.</strong> The real power, the wonderful healing power of Mercury Retrograde is actually that it helps us to see all of the drains in our energy. It reveals that bit by bit. For some of us, the drains have to be revealed in uncomfortable circumstances in order to get our attention, so if that’s you, I'm sending you so much love and support so that you're able to get through it, but the point is for you to pull back on the arrow this month, too.</p>



<p>In our ascension path as entrepreneurs and as professional people, we tend to get addicted to and base our worth on how much momentum we can generate: the more that we're able to move forward, the more that we're able to get things done - and get things done well - and cross things off of the task list. But, just the other day when I was speaking locally - and I've been out speaking a lot more recently, by the way, and I’m finding it's a lot of fun. I'm making a lot of really deep impact and making greeter, more intimate connections with the local tribe...</p>



<p><strong>The other day when I was speaking, something that we went over was the power of working ON your business rather than just IN it.</strong> When you can set aside time and space to work On your business and not just In your business, that's when the quantum leaps happen. That's where the real progress that gets you back into alignment in a massive way, with your vision and your life purpose, tends to take off. With that being said, the gift of Mercury Retrograde is it causes us to step back, to pull back on the arrow and refocus what we're aiming at, and how we are aiming. And the more that we can improve our alignment, the more effective we become overall. So, if you have not prepared yourself for Mercury Retrograde, or if you have not had a good one before, I want to support you in doing that. <br>  </p>

One, I did a really good job of explaining exactly what to do while Mercury Retrograde is happening, and for those of you who aren't familiar with it, I break it down in those videos, so stay tuned for that. And Two, the other purpose is for me myself to pull back on the arrow. I want to better serve you. After eight years of doing new content constantly, and you following my evolution over time, I want you to be able to be better served at this current level of vibration. We have the podcast out now. We're going on 50 episodes, and I want to be able to share that with you effectively.</p>



<p><strong>Also we have the quarterly Strategic Spa Retreats to support you, such as the next one that we're about to have this month in Bay Head, New Jersey, on the beach, for grounding and clearing your energy as a conscious entrepreneur and helping you to get back on your path as the visionary that you've been called to be, not just someone who's tasking away and putting out fires left and right.</strong> There's so much more to your purpose than that, so with love, I want to be even more effective in maintaining our relationship and guiding you, and in order to do this, I'm going to take some space to pull back on my arrow as well, refocusing and retooling. Also I’ll take some time to be out in nature more, because I know I need that for my energy, especially as an empath.</p>



<p>So, I just wanted to do a really quick Love Letter this week. Focus this month in particular on pulling back on the arrow for your self so that you can refocus and retool, too. Just because it may look like you're going backwards, pulling back on the arrow doesn't mean that you are. We're refocusing and retooling, and that's the magic of Mercury Retrograde, the really deep magic of it. By the way, a Retrograde is an optical illusion. It looks like things are going backwards in the night sky, but that's actually not true. Things are still moving forward, but they appear to be going backwards. It's an optical illusion, so be kind to yourself. Keep calm and carry on.</p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This week in particular we are on week three of four in a deep dive around what is grounding and how to really live a grounded life.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong> Last week we spoke about physical grounding, knowing the symptoms of being physically ungrounded.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Now that was only a partial list. A complete list is here in my "Natural Intuition Now" book. It's much more comprehensive. We have list after lists of more and more things to look out for, so go ahead on Amazon.com, order that. That's book one by the way for beginners, "Natural Intuition Now" book one. It's on Amazon.com. In two days it'll be at your doorstep if you've got prime.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"> So for today in particular we are talking about emotional and mental grounding. </span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Last week we looked at making sure that we're cleansing so that we're physically connected to our nature so that our bod's an open channel for allowing empathic energy to flow to and through us, not getting clogged up even on a physical level, right?</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong> For emotional and mental symptoms of being ungrounded, what that looks like is anxiety, depression, racing repetitive thoughts, negative self-talk, a pessimistic mindset, really set against understanding or being open-minded, like having a closed mindset.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">These are symptoms of being mentally and emotionally ungrounded. Why? </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Because on a mental and emotional level, you're going against your nature. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">So having pent up feelings for example and not being able to be emotionally accessible or expressive is also symptoms of being emotionally ungrounded. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">Remember, being grounded is being connected to our nature, our zero, our neutral set point.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> How can we, this week in particular, get more connected to being emotionally and mentally grounded? Maybe you do have the racing thoughts. Maybe it's hard for you to focus naturally, right? There's just so much going on in your head. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">I've even had clients where, <em>"Victoria, I don't even want to try meditating because I don't know what I'm going to find once I start digging."</em> I don't know, they'll have this fear which is another symptom of being emotionally and mentally ungrounded. </span><span class="s1">So what exactly can we do?</span></strong></p>

<h2 class="p1"><a href="https://ctt.ec/wMfnx"><strong><span class="s1">Know this: Fear is a symptom of being mentally &amp; emotionally ungrounded.</span></strong></a></h2>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Now there are many things that you can go about that. Again in the book there's list after list after list of things that you can do for emotional and mental grounding, but this week in particular my guides are saying the technique to observe yourself in this week is around your relationship with time.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"> Time actually doesn't exist. Time is emotion. </span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Time is emotion. Sure, there's like a clock, right? </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">I watch the clock and stuff while I'm speaking to you or holding space for the sessions here so I can be the time goods to keep you grounded emotionally however is why I do that, because how stressful does that feel, how much negative emotion comes up when people are running over or someone is taking up more of your time.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong>How refreshing emotionally does that feel when we're ending even on time or even just a little bit early so there's just enough for me to get up, stretch myself, and release we were just doing.</strong></p>
<p class="p1">How compressed does the emotion feel when it's a tense environment? How compressed as in slow moving does time move when the air in the room is tense?</p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong>Maybe there's an argument at work or maybe at home there's a lot of stress in the environment. All that emotional, thoughtful tense energy causes things to creep along. Whereas if we're happy, we're rocking out, we're having a good time, a party, wherever. Suddenly time flies.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1">Time is emotion.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> So this week in particular the guides are suggesting, take it or leave it, take your time for emotional and mental grounding. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>When you're trying to express yourself, make sure that you pause powerfully, allow yourself space to gather your thoughts, to arrange your ideas.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Also allow yourself emotional space as in making time for, if you have some negative emotion such as grief, frustrating, giving yourself time for expressing that in the right kind of safe environment for you.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> But this week in particular it's making time because if you are rushing, you're actually ungrounding yourself mentally and emotionally. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">That's why it's harder to focus when you feel rushed actually because you're ungrounded. You're moving against your nature. Slow down and take your time this week in particular.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> By the way, we have other love letters called Pause Powerfully and Slow Down. I've done so many love letters over the last few years. So you can do YouTube searches just to check those out for a little bit more on those topics. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">But I'm hearing the Oracle Cards for this week in particular calling out in the energy and let's see. </span></strong></p>

<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">Oh! Abundancia, Prosperity. The universe is pouring its abundance out to you. Be open to receive.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Now I don't know if like the camera is backwards when you're looking at this, but this is such a powerful message to receive around emotional and mental grounding. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>You have an abundance of time. There's always more. There's an infinite supply, right? Thinking abundantly helps you to relax.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Having an abundant mindset opens up your energy and connects you more to nature. Does a tree ever think twice about growing its leaf? No. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">It just allows the abundance of air and chemicals to pass through it, and it continues producing, reproducing in that cosmic dance of life.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"> Abundance. Having an abundant mindset is so powerful for allowing yourself to feel more emotionally and mentally grounded. </span></strong></span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This week's source wants you to know you don't owe anybody anything.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">You do not owe any one any thing. You are free.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><em>"Why would this be coming up, Victoria? What? Guides, what are you trying to say?"</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">In the energy I'm hearing to tell you that this week, in particular, you are going to feel pulled or obligated to reciprocate, to agree, and to commit to someone or something out of a sense of an impulse, or like a, <em>"I have to. I have to."</em></span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">All right. Maybe you've been going through this recently, where you've been pulled by your have-tos, pulled by your obligations. Pulled apart, not just pulled towards. Right?</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Compulsion, and trying to keep up with everything, but you're being pulled apart at the seams where you're over-committed. Right? </span><span class="s1">Or overbooked, or overwhelmed, overextended, et cetera.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>What's underneath all of that, the Guides want you to know, is that you don't owe any one anything, but for now, you believe that you do.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">So if someone has paid you a compliment or supported your business, or loved you in the past, or asked you a question, there's this compulsion within you, and I'm talking to you. I'm talking to you directly. Just you, to say, <em>"Yes,"</em> or <em>"Oh, I want to support you,"</em> or <em>"Oh, I'm here for you no matter what. No matter how crazy they get. No matter how difficult things are."</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">No matter what's going on with you, right? There's the sense of I have to help other people. Right?</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">Because that's my purpose. </span>That's all that I am is helping other people, but guess what? If all that you are is helping other people respectfully, who are you without other people?</strong></span></p>

<p class="p1">That's a big question and I'm asking that with big love for you. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with you, but there's a pattern of give, give, give, giving, and what happened to receiving? What happened to it? Is it uncomfortable, right, for you to receive?</p>
<p class="p1"><strong>Do you feel like you owe it to them? If the guy says,<em> "Oh, you look really good today."</em> Do you have to pay attention to him as he tells you the rest of his life story? If he offers you a drink, do you have to drink it?</strong></p>
<p class="p1">Even if it's not in like that kind of dating situation. If you're at the party, right, maybe it's someone's birthday or a holiday, or something is going on right now as you're watching. Do you have to drink that alcohol? Do you owe it to them? To look like you're having a good time, right, but drinking.</p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong>Underneath, especially, our addictive parts of our personality, there's a sense of, <em>"I owe it. I owe it to them."</em></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1">Now this is not all addictive personality, but quite a few. If this has to do with some sort of a social situation, there is a sense of, <em>"I have to fit in. I have to. I have to. I must,"</em> and that, is not the case. You always, always, always have a choice.</p>
<p class="p1"><strong>The phrase that you say to release yourself from this is, <em>"Thank you and I choose not to."</em></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Like if someone asks, <em>"Hey, can you come move the furniture, and my kids, and my foot, and my house?" "Thank you. Thanks for thinking of me. I choose not to,"</em> or <em>"Thank you. No. No, I can't."</em> It stops there.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Don't give excuses. You don't owe anybody any excuse. You don't owe anybody any explanations. No is sufficient, because it's a choice.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">There's a difference between, okay, reciprocity, and being tied energetically and karmically into transactional relationships. There's a difference between that and choosing when and where you desire to participate.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>You desire to contribute consciously, and this is where I'm hearing the oracle cards coming through in the energy.</strong></span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">You're on the right path, and each card in this deck comes with a prayer, so it says, and let's all close our eyes for a moment.</span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">So this week, in particular, the guides had a very simple message. Be intentional. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Be intentional. What does this mean?</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">When we are intentional, we are decisive, precise, and focused. Decisive, precise, and focused. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>This is an interesting topic especially if lately you've been having trouble getting clear on what your message is. Maybe in your business or maybe on your blog, your story right on your page.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Or even clear about what major you want to choose in college or what's the right next career step for you. What kind of culture you desire to have in your business or at home with your family. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">What type of life you desire to create is what's at stake behind being intentional.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> When you set your intention, you put a stake in the ground to say, <em>"This is who I am and this is what I desire."</em> It's necessary to have that point of view set and clear so that the universe can support you in manifesting whatever you're creating. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Now if you're not intentional, this is what happens. You go with the motions. You leave things up to chance.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">You get frustrated when other people don't really do what you want but you expect them to magically know, according to social conventions or according to,<em> "Well, this is how I've done this for them, so they should just infer."</em> Or <em>"I wish I was understood."</em> Rather than being intentional about it.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1"> Decisive, clear, and precise.</span></strong></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong> It's hard because I feel in the energy as I share that with you, that there's this element of commitment phobia that comes up when I think about being intentional.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Well I have multiple commitments. I could do whatever. Anything that comes across my path, I should say yes to because that means I'm connected to that person, that organization, that idea. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">It helps me feel like I'm part of something bigger than just myself, and my own problems, my own world, my own limitations.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong> I get it, I feel you, and this week in particular, the guides are saying, <em>"It's time for you to draw a line in the sand."</em> Not just a line, let's say more like an X. X marks the spot. This is my intention.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Maybe it's in dating with this person that you've been going out with for a while. I really intend to get married so if that's not something that you're interested in, we don't need to keep talking. Or maybe with your friend who is only texting you and never calls. It's my intention to actually connect with you and what that actually means is hearing your voice or getting to hug you in person. This whole texting business, your friend or your children, this texting stuff, it doesn't work for me.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong> It's X marks the spot. Boom. We are super decisive, clear, and precise on what it is we desire.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">I'm starting to hear the oracle cards calling the energy in support of this but I want you to know that this actually takes courage to be intentional, to set an intention and go for it. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">It's different than goal setting. This is really about decisiveness.<br />
</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Decisiveness has this kind of commitment taboo sort of spooky feeling 'cause we've made decisions in the past or asked for things before, and it didn't go well or we didn't get what we wanted. Be kind to yourself. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">This is a week of healing through experience and experimentation. Experiment with being intentional. Set up an intention, follow it, and guess what? You can always change your mind.</span></strong></span></p>

<p class="p1"><strong><em><span class="s1"> "Creativity is the ability to manifest ideas that begin in dreams and wishes. To see them become solid and three dimensional and to have others experience their power too."</span></em></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Couldn't resonate more with intentionality. Clear, right? In sharing. <em>"Creativity is sacred to the universe. Work this spell to all the enchanting power or creativity to move from your dreams, to reality in your life. If this spell has chosen you ..."</em> Which is what happened. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"><em>"The universe wishes you to understand that there are gifts that you, and only you, have to offer to the world. Take the time to work this spell's special magic so that you can come to understand what the gift is that you have to offer the world."</em></span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> So this is a wonderful ritual or an activity to bring out your unique brilliance, your creativity, and help you be more intentional. Authentically. Beautifully in alignment, this never gets old. Creativity spell, you ready? This is really simple.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1"><em> "Use the magical power of white light and breathe it in from the universe."</em> Imagine that there's white light all around you, that you can breathe in. <em>"Practice this until it becomes natural and true creativity will flow."</em></span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> This is your magical activity for this week in particular. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">Now, this is regardless of what your religious or spiritual beliefs are. It's just breathing in, imagining and breathing in white light. My guides say that this is a wonderful activity or spell, if you desire to call it that.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> This is a wonderful activity for being more intentional because it clears the decks and gets you back into your central flow. Your alignment. When you're being intentional, you have to be clear in where you're coming from in the first place to really put, <em>"Hey, X marks the spot right there. This is my intention."</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong> So try it out with me. Take a deep breath in, visualize this white light flowing into your body as you inhale. Exhaling white light right through you. Two more. Breathe in. Last one, breathing in more healing light.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Pause in this space, don't open your eyes yet if your eyes are closed. Relaxed. What do you desire? What was the first thing that came up for you? </span></p>
