Do you have hip and shoulder pain?

Find that your joints feel tight and stiff as you go about your day?

Midday slump zapping your energy?

Music is a powerful pick me up.

But few people know that it can actually heal your body.

Watch this week's 13-minute love letter video to begin soundbathing -- which is the act of clearing your energy with sound!

"I can't seem to keep my focus in the afternoon."

This week, source wants you to know about soundbathing.

Have you heard of this? Soundbathing. Particularly as a form of self-care and self-energy treatment.

If you go to yoga at your local yoga studio, perhaps they may offer alternative session, such as like a crystal ball meditation or a gong meditation. Those have to do ... or a chanting, even. Those all have to do with soundbathing and sound or vibrational therapy.

I think another word for that is radionics, the study of vibration and how that affects the human energetic field.

Soundbathing, however, you don't have to wait for a class to be offered for you to go and bathe in vibrational realignment and clearing.

Sound is everywhere. Music, music therapy is a form of soundbathing. Music therapy is an energy therapy, a vibrational therapy.

Yes, it's also a psychological, there's a whole branch of psychology that has to do with music therapy and art therapy. The power of music to change and lift and heal our mood, to convey how we feel and help us process pent-up emotions and allow them to free.

Music can liberate us from a heavy mood, or can take us from a happy mood to over the moon.

Certain types of music can even have the opposite effect. We're feeling great and we walk into this wall of sound and energy.

They've done the experiments of playing classical music for plants verus playing heavy metal for plants. The heavy metal plants die faster and droop faster than the classical plants, which thrive and get so bright and happy.

Side note, I love heavy metal, I grew up on it. I grew up listening to Iron Maiden, and Pantera, and Judas Priest and all of that, so maybe I'm a strange plant, but I thrive on that mess. I love it! I love it, I love it. The drama, it's great.

It's a beautiful thing, music. But the act of soundbathing, in particular, is allowing the vibrations of the music, the sounds.

Even if it doesn't necessarily have a chorus and a hook and a melody or anything, but maybe it is tonal music that they have binaural frequencies that they just play, it's not necessarily a song, but it's a vibrational frequency that you can listen to or play on the big speaker. We want the big speaker or the car, for you to be totally bathed in that vibration.

What happens is is your whole body listens now.

Think of inside your ears. There's the hammer and the anvil and the drum, all those little bones that every time a sound vibrates, like a vibration comes into your ear, the hammer goes da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da inside of your ear and sends electrical signals into your brain and down through your central nervous system to say, "Huh, I hear music. Oh, those are words," or, "Uh, that's in the key of B-flat." If you caught that, send me an email back.

Here's the thing. Be kind to yourself, because you think you only hear with your ears, but it's just bones moving inside of your ears that register vibration as sound.

You have bones in other parts of your body. You have bones, in fact, throughout your entire body!

When you soundbathe, this is the practice of listening with all of your bones and allowing your entire body to be immersed.

It bathes, soaking in the beauty of that music or aligning completely with that vibration, that tone moving through your body. They even have vibrational tones according to each one of the chakras that helps you to align with that chakra. In fact, it's according to the scale. There's C, and there's G, and that has different chakra alignments.

When you soundbathe, this week in particular, source is saying, "Do it when you are traveling."

You want to soundbathe at least once per a day. Chances are you will be traveling once per a day, yes? If you're driving, especially if you're driving by yourself, you are in an advantage in this, but if you are not by yourself, headphones.

The best way to soundbathe, however, is not with headphones on, because you want more of the bones of your body to register the vibration, especially bass.

Caveat. One of my students, she's very sensitive to sound. This one's not for you, my dear! I know that your ears are going to be like, "I can't take this." For the rest of us, who can take hearing sound ... she's exceptionally sensitive to it. She's different than others. She's even better. She's even more sensitive. It's so good, so powerful.

For the rest of us, you want to really feel the music and listen with different parts of your body, especially (ninja tip incoming) especially if that area of your body is in pain.

You need to soundbathe and listen with the bones of that area of your body even more.

I just heard someone in the energy say, "Victoria, listen with my bones? How do I do that?" It takes a little bit of practice, a little bit of mindfulness.

Know this: Your whole body listens to sound through your bones; music can clear your energy!

What I want you to do to practice is stand in front of a good speaker, or even sit with your car in park while really good bass filled song is playing and that vibration, you hear it up here.

Yes, and it shakes all of the bones up and around this area of your head. You may even feel your brain rattle, depending on how loud you're listening. I come from a musical family, so there's only one volume setting and that's all the way up and the bass is all the way up. My father was a bassist.

Here's the thing. As you sit there and listen to the music, notice that there's a vibration up here and then start to hear the sound, that similar vibration, maybe down in your chest, maybe in your arms, maybe in your pelvis and also maybe in your legs or even your feet. Maybe in your hands.

Then once you get used to hearing that, then if it's your shoulders that hurt, listen with that area.

Listen, I would say, is in quotations when I say that. It's not like you have ears on your shoulders, but you do have bones in your shoulders, which is what registers vibration. Get it?

The oracle card that wanted to come forward this week is Archangel Raphael healing. When I asked the decks, one of the 19 that are here and counting, "Who wants to come forward?" This one.

I literally felt electricity coming off the decks, so apparently Archangel Raphael, you have something to say about music and soundbathing.

Oh my, caffeine-free!

Yes. Uh, I see! Thank you. The reading is, "Dear Archangel Raphael, I ask that you cut my cords of attachment to caffeine so that I may honor my body's natural energy rhythms without chemicals." Here is where we're going to leave off.

The guides say that if you're looking for an energy pick-me-up and to lift your energy up. I know, before we talked about flower therapy as one way to give yourself an energy shot, but this soundbathing is actually another really powerful way to raise your energy levels, especially in that mid-day slump.

Usually when we go to reach for caffeine, or Red Bull, or sweets, or a carb or something to ingest, we try to stuff energy into ourselves. Actually, if you were to just soundbathe, give yourself five minutes.

Put on a five minute song that you just love and can't resist. Turn that on first. See how your energy response, if you get an energy pick-me-up just from hearing that music and feeling it in your body, and allowing it to move through you.

Then, if you need to still grab for the caffeine, fine, go for it, but try this out, run an experiment first.

Comment below, send me an email back at senseivictoriawhitfield@gmail.com, how did your experiment go?

What is your soundbathing song? What did you choose to vibrate with? Did you want any suggestions? I have got playlist on playlist on playlist. I'm dishing them out all the time to my students.

I'm excited to hear your stories of how your experiment went and if you could hear with the bones of your feet. I'm so excited for you.

I'm sending you so much love and positive vibrations. I'll see you next week. Bye!

Too scared to say what you mean to say?

Feeling like you can't speak up about what's really weighing on your heart?

Do you keep your mouth shut because you're afraid that you'll be rejected or "look stupid" if you say what you think?

Deep down we all know that things left unsaid can slowly eat away at us. But still, we don't say anything in an effort to "keep the peace."

Are we really keeping the peace though if it's at the expense of our health? Because inner turmoil and repressed feelings certainly aren't healthy!

Watch the above video to learn how to break the silence and speak up for yourself with love and healing!

"Rock the boat! Don't rock the boat, baby. Rock the boat! Don't tip the boat over."

This week’s topic is about giving yourself the silent treatment.

Why do we do that to ourselves? What does that mean?

When we're giving our-self the silent treatment, it means we are blocking out whatever we really want to say.

Perhaps there's a situation that's come up at work or at home with a loved one or your kids or friends that you've been interacting with. You feel like you just can't talk about it or you can't speak up.

You feel like you’re out of bounds, telling yourself “well, if I say that they're going to reject me” or “they're going to criticize me,” or “they're going to get emotional and I don't want to have to deal with all that.”

Think about the situation now, as you read this. Do you feel like you can't speak up about what's really on your heart? Like you can't clear the air there?

Also, perhaps you may feel like if you do say something you're going to be singled out. And that’s the last thing you want is to be singled out as the “troublemaker” who rocked the boat or even tipped it over, right?

We tell ourselves a million and one reasons why we should give ourselves the silent treatment and we cut off expression because we believe it’s for our own good.

"It’s safer to just blend into the wallpaper." "I don't want anybody to feel like I'm making waves or that I'm getting too full of myself."

You know, in Australia my Australian friends have a name for this phenomena of giving yourself the silent treatment: it’s called the “tall poppy syndrome.”

In a beautiful field of poppies, if one grows taller, the gardener chops off her bloom because she stands out. So that means you shouldn't stand out too much, and anyone who does should be chopped down to size, to preserve status quo.

Know This: You may think you're "keeping the peace," but choosing not to speak your truth is actually a choice to do more harm than good to yourself and everyone involved. #speakup #clarity

Although "tall poppy syndrome" is meant to protect the status quo, it's actually harmful, because it's based in fear. It is really just the fear of being seen and heard.

Whenever we actively engage in or operate from fear, this is energetically -- spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, financially, etc. -- harmful. Yes, it actively does harm.

But, wait! There's more!

Giving yourself the silent treatment is not only the fear of being seen. On the flip side, it’s also the fear of being hurt.

Spirit says that we give ourselves the silent treatment to avoid feeling hurt, and that one way this manifests is always apologizing or back-pedaling for something that we did or said.

At the drop of a hat, we think to ourselves, “oh crap, that fell out of my mouth toward you so let me just try and do damage control.”

And so, as if you have a nervous tick, you immediately say “I didn't really mean that” or are just always saying “I'm sorry, I’m sorry” and apologizing for yourself.

Even if you didn't do anything you want to be the first one to say I'm sorry so that you can shut it down. Shut all of the energy down. Control, control, control.

So it all boils down to this: the real reason why give ourselves the silent treatment is to control our energy. But we are doing this in a dark way; it is not The Master Path for controlling our energy.

When you shut down your expression in the energy the angels are saying that it's like being at the ocean and trying to dam up the entire ocean, along the entire beach.

Can you imagine a dam running all the way down the Jersey Shore, just the entire of the state, just trying to keep it at bay and not let it ebb and flow as she needs to do?

Rather than honoring her power and natural beauty, you intuitively know that the dam is trying to control her so only a certain amount of ocean can be present at the beach. The one that comes out of this teeny little tap right here. Ha!

With this image, the angels are saying you’re making your power – which is like the ocean and infinite – very, very small.

Painfully small.

Harmfully small.

Unnaturally small.

We need to learn how to respect and honor whatever is coming through us; to respect and honor our power and our energy.

If we don't, then there are repercussions.

The same way that the ocean doesn't just disappear if you try to dam her up, is the same way that your energy doesn't just disappear if you clam yourself up -- it reroutes.

Oftentimes when we tend to shut down our own expression it manifests physically with disease and discomfort.

So, for example, do you have chronic neck and shoulder pain? Tightness of the jaw? Do you grind your teeth?

Or when you're stressed out, you crunch it together or do you tend to often want to chew on things? Like chewing on straws, pens and pencils or are you addicted to chewing gum?

Oral fixations and addictions are signs of underlying spiritual issues that have to do with expression being stifled.

If you’re addicted to smoking or drinking, don’t be judgmental, instead just notice yourself from a spiritual and energetic perspective.

Take notice of all of these physical manifestations in and around the throat, such as chronic ear infections, catching a cold every winter or even in the summer, etc. as not random events.

Put them in a spiritual context as guidance and warning signs from Spirit that something you are doing is out of alignment with Source.

And what is out of alignment is your relationship with expression: you’re afraid of your truth and allowing it to flow through you.

We're afraid to really put it out there, really allow truth -- which is Source energy -- to move through us. It's raw, it is beautiful. It's always healing, even if it is painful.

But how the heck do we start to turn this situation around then? Are there any techniques and strategies to stop giving yourself the silent treatment? YES!

You’ll have to watch the rest of this week’s video strategy to find out the exactly how!

Just for Today...

Call yourself out when you're clamming up or too afraid to speak up, by announcing it out loud. Yes, really! You can just announce that you're scared.

When you feel yourself shutting down, holding or pulling back, you can literally say "I have something to say but I'm afraid to speak up right now."

Notice how you feel at that moment - you're already healing!

You only get

One.

#BK2YS

Are You A Wounded Soldier of Love?

"I'm in the front line of this battle of mine
But i'm still alive
I'm a soldier of love
Every day and night
I'm a soldier of love
All the days of my life
I've been torn up inside
I've been left behind
Tall I ride
I have the will to survive
In the wild, wild west
Trying my hardest
Doing my best to stay alive
I am love's soldier"
- Soldier of Love by Sade CLICK HERE for Lyrics

This song by Sade popped into my mind and I thought of You.

Do you ever feel that loving someone is a fight for you? Or that even the idea of opening to love again sounds like you're stepping willfully blindfolded into a minefield?

Perhaps in your marriage day in and day out you struggle to hide how you feel emotionally un-supported by your partner behind your commitment to your shared responsibilities, stuffing down that loneliness as best you can.
Or perhaps you are single and hiding high in the tower of your guarded heart, surrounded by cold stone walls built of frozen emotions from traumas of previous relationships.
At least they won't see how fragile you really are, the emotional baggage you secretly carry.

Know this: Don't hide. The only person you are hiding from is always Your Self. #BK2YS

You are not alone. Ever. Unless you choose to be. Deciding to hide how you feel, rather than confront and share your emotions, won't solve the problem that your feelings are trying to show you.Loneliness, mistrust and suspicion are all signals to a pattern in YOU that need healing.

Begin by admitting how you really feel to your self first, then do something to physically express the fullness of this emotion, such as journaling or painting or going for a run.

Don't hide in your heart; all the energy of unexpressed feelings and unprocessed emotions occupies space in there. If you don't move them out, how can someone else - or even your own authentic energy - move in?
In Love and Light,

SHARE THIS! You'd be surprised how many people you know have no idea how easy meditation is, and how it can profoundly affect their lives!
