<p>It has been said that "you are what you eat" – our bodies reflect our nutritional diet.</p>
<p>And the same goes for our mindset; what goes into your mind affects how you feel.</p>
<p><span style="color: #008080;"><strong>Watch this week's 10-minute Love Letter video to get started on your information diet and detox your mind!</strong></span></p>

<p style="text-align: right;"><em><span style="color: #800080;"><b>"What am I putting into my head?"</b></span></em></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>This week, Source is saying that you need to go on a diet. Not a food diet, no; but actually an information diet. Let me explain.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Maybe recently, have you noticed that there's more and more reports about negative news? Maybe you've been hearing more drama stories at work, or with your friends, or maybe; have you been reading a book that's like really emotional and dramatic and intense.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">At the same time, have you noticed that you've been feeling a little bit more anxious, frustrated, annoyed, sad, or even depressed? Maybe even restless or really angry recently.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The two are related.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>This is what the Guides want you to know this week, is that the information that you take into you, affects you, the same way that if you eat a certain diet, that let's say, is not in alignment with your best health.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Whatever that means for you; your feelings, your physical feelings in your body, such as in your joints or in your belly, or in your chest, or in your sinus, will be affected. Your body lets you know that what you put into her, has an affect on her.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">In a dramatic sense, if you drink something that you shouldn't have, or if you eat some bad food, she'll let you know by bringing it back up and out, all right, because that's what your body does to respect yourself; or chemo receptive sense, pushes the bad chemicals or the negative energy out of her when we're at above the level of tolerance.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>The same happens with your mind.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This weekend particular, you need to watch,<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span><em>"What am I putting into my head?"</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Do you notice maybe in your Facebook or Twitter feed there's all these really annoying people, or really heavy news reports, or maybe you've been watching a certain TV or movie series, that really is just violent or intense?</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">If you've been putting information into you that is of a lower vibration, it has an effect on your mind set and on your emotions.</span></strong></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #000000;">So this week in particular, just become mindful of what you're putting in. Go on an information diet.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>As we're speaking right now, the energy is saying you know exactly what to watch out for.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">You know exactly which information channels; maybe it's the news, maybe it's the Facebook feed, maybe it's the Twitter feed, maybe it's that's website that you always go to look up stuff, or maybe it's that one person who you always ask, <em>"What's going on with so-and-so?"</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Be kind to yourself this week in particular by watching your information diet; that's the way you're going to be kind to yourself this week in particular, and I'm hearing the oracle cards calling in the energy to way in on this subject.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">Indigo Angel Oracle Cards deck by Doreen Virtue, one of many, of course, decks here, we're always receiving donations if you'd like to send them.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">When I asked our library of oracle cards, it was this deck in particular that stepped forward and said, <em>"We can contribute something really powerful this week in particular."</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Angels what do we need to know right now about going on an information diet? Is there something under neath what we've been experiencing? I feel this card coming through ... "Mother Mary."</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Mother Mary ... In the energy, I'm hearing that she has to do a lot with protection, gentleness and compassion. Not only for others, but also for ourselves. They're telling me to read also the entry in particular so let's check this out together.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><em><span class="s1"><strong>"Known as the Queen of Angels, Mother Mary is the embodiment of unconditional love and compassion. This card calls for you to look at the people in your life, as well as yourself, with the same love. Mother Mary can help you embrace your gifts and talents and honor yourself in every moment. Sometimes called the divine nurturer, she reminds you to be proud of how far you've come in this life time, and encourages you to keep moving forward."</strong></span></em></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The guides are telling me to stop right there for a moment. When we go on a diet, it's not just about limitation, but it's also about adding in things that are better, right?</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #000000;">The guides are saying limit the negative input, increase the positive input - such as with appreciation.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Look at all the incredible things that you've accomplished lately. Think about the last year of your life, how much have you gotten done? Especially things that you thought would've never been possible, right?</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">If I would pause for a moment, and appreciate and acknowledge what I've done, "Oh my gosh" in the last year:</span></p>
<ul>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">I have a brand new dojo</span></li>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">I'm going on a national tour</span></li>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">I've secured several international tour dates</span></li>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">I've celebrated my 30th birthday</span></li>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">I've maintained my health</span></li>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">I've created new and wonderful deepened relationships with my family</span></li>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">I now know hundreds and hundreds of people personally, and have touched hundreds of lives.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span class="s1">If I were to appreciate what I've done in the last year, I'd run out of time on this video.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">I need you to do that for yourself this week. This is what the guides are telling me to relay to you.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><em><span class="s1"><strong>"Mother Mary protects, guides, and supports all children, including Indigo Children. Indigo Children are those that are highly intuitive, perceptive and sensitive. She also helps you to help other children.Call upon Mother Mary to open your heart and make you aware of what a blessing you are to this planet."</strong></span></em></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Someone just got a chill, I felt that in the energy. You're purpose is to help children in this life time because of what happened to you as a child. (If that's you, send me an email back, really curious to hear who that's for.)</span></p>
<p class="p1">This is where we'll leave off.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>You're going on an information diet, not because you want to shut other people out, but instead you want to tune into who you really are.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">You know, you barely have enough energy to manage your own life, and manage your own self. Be kind to yourself and focus on the positive this week in particular.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Try it out, 7 days; if, you know, it all goes to hell then you only did it for 7 days and then you're free. I'm sure you're going to like how it feels to have unplugged from those negative influences.</span></p>

<p class="p1">This week in particular, Source wants you to know that you have got to slow down. Slow down.</p>
<p class="p1">Perhaps lately you've been going at pedal to the metal type pace. Perhaps it's really been the time of the year or things going on with your family or for yourself and your own personal development, but for some reason Source wants you to know that this week in particular you have got to slow down.</p>
<p class="p1"><strong>You don't have to go pedal to the metal all the time. Slowing down is less of a matter of speed and more a matter of mindfulness.</strong></p>

<h2 class="p1"><a href="http://ctt.ec/VZidY"><strong><span class="s1">Know this: Slowing down is less about speed than it is about mindfulness. #selfcare @SenseiWhitfield</span></strong></a></h2>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">One of the things I could tell you that you're going too fast, the Guides are saying are the signs of your body. When you're going too fast, your health may creep up, give you a cold or give you more aches and tension in your body or you may have trouble sleeping. These are physical signs, aches and pains in your body that you may be going too fast.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Other signs that you are going too fast could manifest emotionally, so where something that you thought would not be a problem and you're so used to doing this all the time, or <em>"Yeah sure, come on over. I'd love to meet a new person"</em> or something like that.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">You go into it thinking that this would be perfectly fine and in the moment there's more emotion than you were expecting coming out of you. That is an emotional red flag to say, <em>"Hey, you are going way too fast. It's faster than you thought you could go."</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Lastly there are spiritual signs that you are going too fast and those are more issues of values coming up where you're doing things that are out of alignment perhaps for somebody else's vision to help move their business forward or to help move their agenda forward or to help heal their lives, where you're not feeling your own alignment.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">You're sacrificing your own alignment for that of others. Other spiritual issues that you're going too fast may be an experience that scares you, like above and beyond your comfort zone coming through.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Now this is not to say that if you're doing something that scares you, you're out of alignment but you know, you know more than anybody else what crossing your lines looks like. Here's the thing:</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>A sign that you're going too fast is that you don't know your own boundaries, and I'm hearing the Oracle Cards coming up starting to speak, but briefly boundaries are structure, the structure that provides our safety and foundation in life as individuals.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This is not lines that keep people out per se, it can, but that's not the intention. This is meant to support and be the foundation of health, safety and well-being in our own lives.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>This is going to be a boundaries week. Be kind to yourself.</strong></span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Let's ask Archangel Raphael, <em>"What do we need to know right now about slowing down?"</em></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Two cards have come up. I don't normally flip over two at once. That was unexpected.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">Relationship and second opinion.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">First off, the relationship card says, <em>"Dear Archangel Raphael, thank you for healing and guiding all of my relationships upon the path of love."</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">The Guides and the Angels are saying where you're going to need to slow down and be more mindful this week in your relationships.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Now it might be your personal relationships or your professional relationships, but this basically means that there are other people involved, but underneath all our relationships is our relationship with ourselves, right, who you decide to be as you show up with others.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Guides and the Angels are saying that there are other people involved in why you need to slow down this week, hence boundaries, right?</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">Then here we are. The other card, second opinion. <em>"Dear God and Archangel Raphael, guide me to the best health care professionals for this situation."</em></span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">In your relationships and in your week, this week in particular, you're going to want to seek out guidance and input from third parties. Now Archangel Raphael is the Angel in charge of physical healing and medical health, medical intuition, etc.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>This is saying other health care providers, but it's not just physical health care, medical health care. It may be for your mental health, so seek a third party.</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">If you are the best brain surgeon on the planet and you needed something removed from your brain, you go get the other best or the second best brain surgeon. You don't do that on yourself, you don't do brain surgery on yourself.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This is also a week of reaching out specifically to a third party. This is someone who's removed from the situation.</span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> This week Source's&nbsp;really interesting message for you and it's about your level of self-care of your physical body. You ready for it?</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong> Eat More Photons.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">What!? What in the world? Eat more photons. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">It's often times throughout the year we tend to want to get on a health kick or it's time to try a new diet or take of our body and make sure that she's feeling robust and full and well fueled, etc., but the guides came forward this week in particular about your energy.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">You may have been asking or you may be asking for this week in particular, <em>"I really need help. I'm feeling kind of low energy. What in the world do I do,"</em> etc., etc.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> They're saying eat more photons. Now, Dr. Mercola, he talks about bio-photons and he's interviewed his mentor on it and spoken at length, so there's more on that from him. He's a wonderful resource. If you haven't learned about Dr. Mercola, go check him out about the health of your body.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1"> My guides in particular, rather than saying bio-photons, they're saying photons, so all my scientists out there, let's talk. What are photons?</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Photons are particles of light energy, so if you've been feeling tired or exhausted or maybe it's that time of the day, you know, what's it 2:00, 3:00 pm around where you're at and you just feel exhausted, ready to reach for a coffee, etc. before you reach for that extra sugary or caffeinated something to give you a boost, tell yourself, <em>"I need to eat more photons."</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"> Are there photons in your coffee or are there photons in your cookie? Here's how you can tell. Photons are particles of light, right? They're the energetic way of describing what light is made out of. Tiny little photons of light energy.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Photons, if they are light then, have to be found inside of things that have interacted with light, aka, who's our main light source? Big guy in the sky. The sun. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> It's easy to say,<em> "Eat more fruits and vegetables or etc.,"</em> and that's great. However, when you cook one of those, people, their photons leave. That has a escape out. It's captured within the raw foods, so when you feel tired, rather than grabbing a coffee, which has no photons in it or rather than grabbing a cookie or a candy, which of course, has no photons in it, or rather than eating some cooked greens or soup, etc., that's keeping very, very healthy. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1"> Remember that it's energy that your body is looking for. This is how she powers herself is light. You are actually made of light, so when you feel that energy dip, this week in particular, guides are telling me to ask you try eating something that has more photons in it and see how your body responds.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This doesn't mean go on a raw foods diet. I've been in and out of eating raw food and in and out of being vegan and in and out of ... This is something that, if you try to tend towards perfection, you're going to max yourself out. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1"> Be kind to yourself. Just run an experiment this week in particular. Try it. See how your body responds to when you feed her light versus when you feed her jut calories.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> The oracle cards deck, of course, is Archangel Raphael. Is the Archangel of healing. Let's see, my good man, what in the world do we need to know this week in particular, about eating more photons.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> What's coming up? They said don't shuffle any farther. That's pretty straight forward. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Improving health.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Who would've thought and of course, he's out there, out in nature with everybody who are eating solar energy, right, and capturing the photons.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong> Dear Archangel Raphael, Thank you for comforting reassurance about this situation. This is really important that this card is about bringing up comfort.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">For those of you who think, <em>"I don't like it. I don't want to have to do another thing, etc." </em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1"> This is not meant to put another thing on you that you have to do. This is about loving and healing your body. It's an opportunity to raise the vibration of how you care for yourself.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Another thing that's coming through in the energy around comfort, comforting yourself, is to talk to someone else who is having this experience. How do they engage their energy level at that time in the day when it dips, when they're exhausted? What do they do? What's been their experience? </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Let's come together around eating more photons.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Engage them. It's a pretty bizarre thing to ask.&nbsp;</span>Like, <em>"Have you gotten your photons yet today?"</em> I double dare you to ask them that. Let's comfort each other and connect along this issue.</p>

<p class="p1">This week in particular, Source wants you to know that you have got to slow down. Slow down.</p>
<p class="p1">Perhaps lately you've been going at pedal to the metal type pace. Perhaps it's really been the time of the year or things going on with your family or for yourself and your own personal development, but for some reason Source wants you to know that this week in particular you have got to slow down.</p>
<p class="p1"><strong>You don't have to go pedal to the metal all the time. Slowing down is less of a matter of speed and more a matter of mindfulness.</strong></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> One of the things I could tell you that you're going too fast, the Guides are saying are the signs of your body. When you're going too fast, your health may creep up, give you a cold or give you more aches and tension in your body or you may have trouble sleeping. These are physical signs, aches and pains in your body that you may be going too fast. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Other signs that you are going too fast could manifest emotionally, so where something that you thought would not be a problem and you're so used to doing this all the time, or <em>"Yeah sure, come on over. I'd love to meet a new person"</em> or something like that.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">You go into it thinking that this would be perfectly fine and in the moment there's more emotion than you were expecting coming out of you. That is an emotional red flag to say, <em>"Hey, you are going way too fast. It's faster than you thought you could go."</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Lastly there are spiritual signs that you are going too fast and those are more issues of values coming up where you're doing things that are out of alignment perhaps for somebody else's vision to help move their business forward or to help move their agenda forward or to help heal their lives, where you're not feeling your own alignment. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">You're sacrificing your own alignment for that of others. Other spiritual issues that you're going too fast may be an experience that scares you, like above and beyond your comfort zone coming through.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> Now this is not to say that if you're doing something that scares you, you're out of alignment but you know, you know more than anybody else what crossing your lines looks like. Here's the thing:</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>A sign that you're going too fast is that you don't know your own boundaries, and I'm hearing the Oracle Cards coming up starting to speak, but briefly boundaries are structure, the structure that provides our safety and foundation in life as individuals.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This is not lines that keep people out per se, it can, but that's not the intention. This is meant to support and be the foundation of health, safety and well-being in our own lives.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong> This is going to be a boundaries week. Be kind to yourself.</strong> </span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Two cards have come up. I don't normally flip over two at once. That was unexpected. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">Relationship and second opinion.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">First off, the relationship card says, <em>"Dear Archangel Raphael, thank you for healing and guiding all of my relationships upon the path of love."</em></span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Now it might be your personal relationships or your professional relationships, but this basically means that there are other people involved, but underneath all our relationships is our relationship with ourselves, right, who you decide to be as you show up with others. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Guides and the Angels are saying that there are other people involved in why you need to slow down this week, hence boundaries, right?</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1"> Then here we are. The other card, second opinion. <em>"Dear God and Archangel Raphael, guide me to the best health care professionals for this situation."</em> </span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">In your relationships and in your week, this week in particular, you're going to want to seek out guidance and input from third parties. Now Archangel Raphael is the Angel in charge of physical healing and medical health, medical intuition, etc. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>This is saying other health care providers, but it's not just physical health care, medical health care. It may be for your mental health, so seek a third party.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> If you are the best brain surgeon on the planet and you needed something removed from your brain, you go get the other best or the second best brain surgeon. You don't do that on yourself, you don't do brain surgery on yourself. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> This is also a week of reaching out specifically to a third party. This is someone who's removed from the situation. </span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Maybe recently, have you noticed that there's more and more reports about negative news? Maybe you've been hearing more drama stories at work, or with your friends, or maybe; have you been reading a book that's like really emotional and dramatic and intense. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="color: #800080;"><strong><span class="s1">At the same time, have you noticed that you've been feeling a little bit more anxious, frustrated, annoyed, sad, or even depressed? Maybe even restless or really angry recently.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The two are related. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>This is what the Guides of <a style="text-decoration: none;" href="https://www.directvapor.com/premium-mods/smok-alien-220w-tc-starter-kit.html"><span style="text-decoration: none; color: #666;">alien 220w vape</span></a> want you to know this week, is that the information that you take into you, affects you, the same way that if you eat a certain diet, that let's say, is not in alignment with your best health.</strong> </span></p>

<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">If you've been putting information into you that is of a lower vibration, it has an effect on your mind set and on your emotions.</span></strong></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>As we're speaking right now, the energy is saying you know exactly what to watch out for.</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">You know exactly which information channels; maybe it's the news, maybe it's the Facebook feed, maybe it's the Twitter feed, maybe it's that's website that you always go to look up stuff, or maybe it's that one person who you always ask, <em>"What's going on with so-and-so?"</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Be kind to yourself this week in particular by watching your information diet; that's the way you're going to be kind to yourself this week in particular, and I'm hearing the oracle cards calling in the energy to way in on this subject. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">Indigo Angel Oracle Cards deck by Doreen Virtue, one of many, of course, decks here, we're always receiving donations if you'd like to send them.</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">When I asked our library of oracle cards, it was this deck in particular that stepped forward and said, <em>"We can contribute something really powerful this week in particular."</em> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #800080;"><strong>Angels what do we need to know right now about going on an information diet? Is there something under neath what we've been experiencing? I feel this card coming through ... "Mother Mary."</strong> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Mother Mary ... In the energy, I'm hearing that she has to do a lot with protection, gentleness and compassion. Not only for others, but also for ourselves. They're telling me to read also the entry in particular so let's check this out together.</span></p>

This card calls for you to look at the people in your life, as well as yourself, with the same love. Mother Mary can help you embrace your gifts and talents and honor yourself in every moment. <p class="p1"><span class="s1">The guides are telling me to stop right there for a moment. When we go on a diet, it's not just about limitation, but it's also about adding in things that are better, right?</span></p>

<p>There's a term for things that drain your energy -- spiritually, physically, emotionally, financially, etc. -- and it's called an Energy Vampire.</p>
<p>As hard-working, sensitive, loving and giving people, we tend to attract them -- <em>Yikes!</em></p>

<p style="text-align: right;"><span style="color: #800080;"><b>"Blah, blah!&nbsp;I 'vant to suck your blood!"</b></span></p>
<p><strong>This week’s topic is Energy Vampires.</strong></p>
<p>Now, the vampires we're referring to you are&nbsp;not like the movies &nbsp;where someone comes up to you, bites you on the neck and says, “ha! I got your energy!” drinking it out of you in the literal sense. No, this is very different.</p>
<p>Not everybody knows what an energy vampire is, but this Love Letter is for those who don't know what to do and don't know what an energy vampire is, and as well as for those of us who know all too well what they are, but don't know what to do about it. So let's get to it!</p>
<p><strong>An energy vampire is someone or some thing – like an activity, or a space, an item – that for whatever reason when you are in its presence for an certain&nbsp;period of time, the more you're around them, the more drain you feel emotionally and physically.</strong></p>
<p>What does that mean? The person, place, or thing could be really positive. It could be in Florida, a sunny day at the beach, and everything is supposed to be amazing, right?</p>
<p>You could be at a party spending all this time with these great people who are supposed to be really nice and they're your friends and family, or they're supposed to be your significant other or your children, or your pet, or even your business.</p>
<p>But it still drains you.</p>
<p><span style="color: #993366;"><strong>Here's how to tell if you're being drained:</strong></span></p>
<p><em>If you are in this person, place, or thing's presence for let's say one hour</em></p>
<p><em>1) Do you feel more energized, do you feel excited, happy, wired, inspired, lifted up and encouraged?</em></p>
<p><em>2) Or after an hour in their presence, do you feel on guard, small, or hiding, or are you saying to yourself “ah, I'm getting tired.”?</em></p>
<p><em>The exhaustion starts setting in physically as well as emotionally. You say to yourself “I feel like I'm just talking to a brick wall here. We're getting nowhere, and the more energy I exert, it's like it's not enough.”</em></p>
<p>The more you give, the more, it takes, or the more hats you have to wear in order to be good enough or acceptable.</p>
<p>The person will tell you more of their life story – and you have to hear it in order for them to "make you understand" how they feel – and they keep talking about how “this happened to me, this and then this happened too...”</p>
<p><strong>They feel great because they got to dump, dump, dump on you.</strong></p>
<p>They’ll often start by saying something like “I just want to share.” or “Let me just get this off my chest” and onto yours, or “Just one more thing” over and over... Sound familiar?</p>
<h2>Know This: <span style="color: #008080;">My time and My&nbsp;space are a "No Dumping Zone." #affirmation #selfcare</span></h2>
<p>Someone in the energy just told me to mention that in psychology, there is a phenomena called the “Doorknob Effect.”&nbsp;An example of this comes up often socially.</p>
<p>Imagine it's the end of your time together with someone – maybe you're doing a session with somebody or maybe someone came over for tea and just to talk and hang out – and you say: "Oh, well, time to go. I got to get going" so you can wrap things up.</p>
<p><em>You both walk over to the door, and then they touch the doorknob, stop and say, "Oh! One more thing I just thought of..."</em></p>
<p>It's like the doorknob can activate that “one more thing” for them.&nbsp;Whereas you on the other end are may be thinking, "Oh my god, I gotta go. I want to pee." Yeah...&nbsp;Energy vampires.</p>
<p><strong>Not only on that level, but maybe we're in a relationship with one of them.</strong> Sometimes they not only suck our emotional energy and our physical energy, but also our financial energy.</p>
<p>They keep asking you for more, more, more. "Oh, I can't play this bill. Can you cover it?" Or, "Oh, I missed this." Or, "I really want that." It's just an escalation.</p>
<p><strong>Here's the thing: We always want to give abundantly when we feel safe to, but it's important to tune in to how YOU feel when you're giving.</strong></p>
<p>It helps to ask yourself, first: “okay, do I feel like I'm getting so much more spiritually and emotionally? Do I feel supported and sparkling when I give in a big way?” or “Do I feel like, all right, I'm pushing, we're working hard.” or “Maybe one day this person is going to become my vision of what they are” rather than accepting who they currently are at face value.</p>
<p><span style="color: #993366;"><strong>Ok, that's all well and good Victoria, but&nbsp;<em>why</em> do energy vampires exist? Where does all this come from?</strong></span></p>
<p>Here's why: If any person, place, or thing is draining your energy – like where they just keep going, going, going as if the story that they're telling doesn't stop, or if they're sharing, they just don't stop talking and share the conversation time with you – <strong>it's because they, the person, place, or thing, is supremely ungrounded.</strong></p>
<p>Now, what exactly is “being grounded,” and how does that apply to energy vampires?</p>
