So in this podcast I am excited to get to introduce you to my friend Liz Roberts because she is a business financial funding Goddess, and I've met her through Russell Brunson's Two Comma Club X coaching program.

She's gonna be sharing a little bit more of the nuggets of wisdom that she's picked up across her journey of over 20 years in business, and Liz, I just want to thank you for coming!

Liz: Thank you for having me, Victoria! I'm so excited to be here today!

Victoria: Wonderful! So this may be the very first time that someone is getting to learn about you or meet you and so I would love for you to describe what you're doing in your business, but especially sharing what are the three things that you're known for in your business. Can you tell us?

Liz: I am a business credit provider, and I'm down for working with start up businesses as well. Mostly I do high-risk financing, which is start up businesses, and bad credit, and financing.

You know, I'm also known for building business credit where I am, because it's quite necessary with people with some credit problems to get them on the road to building their credit outside of their personal credit. So we get working on that personal credit and get it back into shape.

I help them to build their business credit. Originally, I got into this industry doing SBA loans, but then I took a little hiatus because I started doing other stuff. So I took a detour for a while where I was training businesses how to outsource.

Right now I am driving in the rain - you can probably hear my windshield wipers us pushing along on the windshield - and I had the most fun and crazy experience earlier today. It was my very first Russell Brunson ClickFunnels style webinar.

So I am getting into the groove of doing his perfect webinar process, and it's been really interesting trying to figure out how to say all the things in the right way; I'm getting used to the structure. And so my day began actually - I have my group coaching call that I received from being in the program with a small group of us and our coach - and there was so much energy and excitement and positivity.

In the midst of our time together, I said to them "I thank you for all your love because I really need it - I'm excited to fail today!" I started laughing, and they all started laughing, and they all were all so excited for me to go out and fail fast and hard. And suddenly it became a joyous occasion, that I'm testing out this new way of marketing, a new way of communicating, and showing up in my business, rather than freaking out to the max.

This is about positive mindset, positive psychology and the law of attraction. One of my mentors shared a mantra with me that completely and totally changed my life that goes like this: "I am positively expecting great results, no matter what I see in front of me; the Universe is rearranging itself for my best interests right now."

But I had this really powerful conversation with my accountability partner yesterday morning about this mantra, and then I continued the conversation with all my VIP clients yesterday because it was so, so juicy.

So he was getting ready that day to go onstage and speak to a sold out room, and he and I both had the same mentor who taught us that same mantra. And he was feeling frustrated though because he is stuck in the law of attraction, because he is just positively expecting, expecting, and expecting... and is still not receiving.

So this is an abundance mindset shift that I would really love the honor of sharing with you. And what triggered me wanting to share this on the podcast is this.

It's Sunday right now, I'm driving down to go see one of my dear friends and VIP clients launch her new brand, and yesterday I got to witness a wonderful next-level event of a dear friend and client of mine.

She was putting on this panel of experts at her salon and it was just such a lovely experience to get to just support her. She also cuts my hair so, we mastermind and interface a lot of the time. I

n the situation that day was that she had clients and had to prepare for this late afternoon event, and I was feeling really happy and juiced I had some free time so I reached out to her said "hey goddess is there anything that you need, you know, to prepare for the event? Do you need cups, do you need whatever, blah, blah."

And I had been by her office and I said "you know it looks like you could use some flowers out front" and she said "I've been looking for mums" - by the way I know you're listening to this, so xoxo I love you so much! But she had been looking for mums and having a hardest time finding good quality ones in time for the event.

Carla: Aww, thank you! And anytime I get it to grab a conversation with you it's a blessing, man it's so awesome. Thank you.

Victoria: So good! So, this may be the very first time that someone is encountering you or are getting to meet you, and so of course I want to ask what do you do, and tell us about your work.

But at the same time I love to ask what are the three things that you are known for - could you tell us?

Carla: Yeah! Right, so you mentioned one, which is probably what I'm most known for, is this app that I made, but a hidden little know fact about that is that when I released that app, that made me the first woman to launch an iPhone app!

Victoria: Woohoo!!

Carla: Yeah diva, high five! So yeah I was most often the only skirt in the room. I'm also known for coaching people into their their natural talents and helping them make money shamelessly, because we all hold this unnecessary shame around sales.

So with my clients, I am helping them step in to what I call just Natural Abundance, because gratitude is all about abundance and everybody has unlimited abundance.

Because many times when we are starting to pursue something that is a little bit more for fulfilling in our lives, and I'm not putting down others who are doing the 9-5, but many of us become very wary of what's going to come up as we pursue our purpose in business.

We have our first time doing a business venture, or maybe even the second or third time, because the first and the second hasn't worked. We are always wondering if it's going to work out, and we have to steer clear always of the fear of starting something new, again.

So I am now driving back from, oh my goodness, a wonderful strategic spa day up in the mountains. I really got to ground into some big, big visions that wanted to come to and through me.

I was laying on my back outside in a heated pool, I had a little floaty thing that was holding me up, and I was in my bathing suit in this wonderful heated pool and it's about 50 something degrees out and the heat was coming up off of the water as a little bit of mist was falling from the sky.

The tree branches above swayed in the breeze - it was just a gorgeous and magical experience that really helped me elevate my vision and really see a lot more of what I'm capable of, and it also helped me to look at my business from a different perspective, feeling less attached it because I'm not in it right now.

I'm physically not in it, as in I am an hour and a half north of where my dojo mansion is located, so and I'm at this wonderful sprawling lake resort and spa lodge golf course in the mountains. And it's a wonderful facility. It was so fun going on a tour of the place, too.

And because of me being removed from my normal, I got to see farther out into my future. I get to see farther out of what are the repercussions of the decisions that I've been making, the actions I've been taking today, and I could see if this business is sustainable.

This is going to be another one of those podcast episodes where we are just walking side by side on this journey in life and business together.

So I was doing the math of how much cash I've invested in my personal and business growth to date, and it's now approaching around a quarter million dollars invested in myself in personal coaching, training in energy healing, business and marketing development training and in masterminds.

When I calculated that up the other day, it was a little bit shocking to consider that I am really, really invested in myself. I really invest not just money though, but also a tremendous amount of time and energy, and sweat equity - my my heart and soul - into really being able to elevate my mindset, elevate my skill set, elevate my social circles, and elevate the quality of my health and well-being.

I'm heavily invested. I identify as a heavily invested person, and I am a lifelong learner. I absolutely love learning - this is something that I believe is part of who I am, so I do so joyfully.

But at the same time there's something that I've noticed where my self image - and I'm gonna own it, right, this is just me owning it on the podcast to you - my self image hasn't caught up with my level of commitment and investment. And this is so frustrating and debilitating, y'all. I mean, I'm telling you, this catches up with me in the strangest ways.

So I wanted to go on the podcast and share my story, maybe to love you up if this has happened to you, too.

I am really blessed that I have support in my business from my team - they handle a lot of the high-volume work of sending and scheduling emails, and posting regularly across multiple social media platforms.

And as a result from having support, I have a little bit more of an emotional bandwidth to see what kinds of marketing work and what don't, which ones are little bit more effective, and which not so much.

Especially as a conscious entrepreneur, we want to remain mindful of how we use our energy, as we are getting out there spreading our message, sharing our gifts with the world and inviting people to invest in themselves so they can get the transformation that they're searching for.

So I had the experience today that made me think of our Journeypreneur tribe where I reached out to a prospect of mine. Now, I had reached out to him last week like we were masterminding together, and he said, "you know, I really want to talk to you about what you said, because I think we should work together," and I said "yeah absolutely, let's talk."

And when I followed up with him to set up a time to talk, he was he ended up being sick, catching a cold, so like his vibration is a little bit lowered. That's perfectly fine, that's natural. We had a conversation going in Facebook messenger, and had been texting a few times back-and-forth there, so I allowed a few days to go by so he could, you know, rest up, re-group and recover. 

But I felt the time come for me to reach back out, and I decided to shift the energy between us.

Victoria: Yeah! So, this may be very first time that someone is meeting you and getting to hear about your work. And how we like to do things around here is when you tell us what you do, give us what are the three things that you are known for in your business? Can you tell us?

Tobe: Yeah, I think I have to reflect. The first three things I think that come in my mind are that people identify me as a marketer first and foremost. I would be described as a very good marketer. The second thing is creativity. I have a creative agency for many, many years, and the I was very adamant that advertising and marketing didn’t have to be ugly. That it could be effective and beautiful. So I can plant a flag in the ground around it, advocating for beauty in design and form.
