"Hi, I'm Sensei Victoria Whitfield, creator of victoriawhitfield.com and naturalintuition.com, and I help entrepreneurs heal. Sensei is a word in Japanese that means 'teacher' and that is my role as your guide online: to teach you how to feel again, and how to truly love yourself while you're at work.

I sincerely believe that Entrepreneurs are the future. And I believe that Entrepreneurs need help getting and staying grounded, so they can serve more people and essentially, yes, save the freakin world.

I also believe that Entrepreneurs are naturally sensitized to what they're here to help others with. And that this natural sensitivity is popularly misunderstood as being "weak" or "weird" or "quirky" or "obsessive" or "pie-in-the-sky." And when Entrepreneurs internalize this dysfunctional mindset, their sensitivities become their kryptonite: crippling stressors that overwhelm them, their teams, their communities, their families, and even their bank accounts.

I know this because I've lived this myself and observed it happen firsthand.

Bio:

Sensei Victoria Whitfield was born "different" by most standards - naturally intuitive, mixed race, a highly sensitive "old soul", seeing auras, communicating with spirits and animals, having healing hands, etc. Born in to a family of deeply spiritual entrepreneurs and creatives, she’s always had an interest in things metaphysical, namely as a way for understanding and managing her own spiritual gifts.

A gifted channel and psychic empath from early childhood, Victoria has spent most of her personal life exploring parapsychology, world religions, bio-energy, psychophysiology, and metaphysical studies. However, her life changed when she experienced firsthand how being “too open” can be scary when she had a psychic attack, and over the last 10 years she has seriously committed to studying various forms of meditation, spiritual philosophy and energy healing modalities such as shamanism, vortex therapy, reiki and feng shui, so that now she can use her gifts as powerful tools, rather than feeling overwhelmed by them.

At first it was her own personal deep healing journey that spurred her on to becoming a perpetual student of personal and spiritual development, and along the way she'd share what worked for her with friends, family and even her own mentors. She has privately studied and practiced meditation, crystal healing and divination since 2004. The turning point was when her mentors started asking her for healing, advice and support, and with their encouragement in 2011 she began to share her passion professionally part-time as a Reiki Intuitive Healer, and then eventually transitioned to full time in December of 2013. Sensei Victoria Whitfield became a certified Sensei (a japanese word for Teacher) in Tibetan-Usui Reiki, Karuna Reiki, and Holy Fire Reiki and is an active member of the International Center for Reiki Training and the International Association of Reiki Professionals. She was certified in 2012 in Tibetan-Usui Reiki by the always gracious Master C. "Sea" Lynn Carr, and in 2014 in Holy Fire Reiki and Karuna Reiki at Stonehenge by world-renowned Master William Lee Rand. Her own Reiki Dojo (dojo means "place of learning and practice" in japanese) is currently located in Westfield, NJ.

Victoria's practice is based on the belief that her clients' needs are of the utmost importance. As a result, a high percentage of her business is from repeat customers and referrals. Over the years Victoria has been blessed to watch the community of healing she envisioned grow from just a few brave hearts to hundreds of soulful spirits from around the world.

Currently, Victoria readily shares how happy, humbled and grateful that she is now to be an internationally recognized holistic stress management expert, actively touring the globe sharing visionary energetic healing experiences with spiritual folks like you from all walks of life, and with heart-centered organizations varying from tech giants like AT&T to mission-driven Women's Associations and networking groups.

In her past life, Victoria lovingly tutored 100's of college students in English Composition and Creative Writing for Rutgers University in New Brunswick for 7 years , and was the Center Director for 3 years at Interweave in Summit, NJ, which is a non-profit adult school and center for holistic and spiritual living, where she continues as a member of the faculty and volunteer.

On a personal level, Victoria's favorite thing in life are bubbles, singing and dancing, her favorite color is Rainbow, and her favorite food is between fresh cucumber and chocolate (but not together, yuck!). In her free time, Victoria meditates outdoors, explores vegan cooking, travels, writes poetry, and sings.
