ARRIVAL: Arrive Friday, so you can be settled and ready Saturday morning to begin the retreat. Recommended to stay Sunday night for your health and rest after the retreat ends.
SPECIAL DIET: The Rookwood Inn staff can support special dietary needs. Call to confirm.
ITEMS TO BRING: Scarf or eye cover, journal, pen and pad. You may also bring your own favorite yoga mats, pillows, and blankets for meditation, but the Inn does have blankets and pillows for our use. Please do not bring incense, candles or essential oils as smell is disruptive.

RETREAT ETIQUETTE: This is a unplugged, two-day event. Unplugged means all your technology will be taken by the Bucketmonger and put away during the day so that you can detox from your attachment to it. Two-day means no single day passes or remote attendance available, as these will disrupt our group’s energy. Dresscode feeling is relaxed loungewear, casual elegance; we will be lounging and meditating all day, but going out to a café for lunch.

Amy Linder-Lesser is your innkeeper and guardian goddess of The Rookwood Inn.
The Rookwood is a charming Victorian luxury bed and breakfast nestled in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, offering on-site spa massage services, and sumptuous food and accommodations. Owning and operating The Rookwood Inn is the achievement of a long-time dream for Amy and her late husband, Stephen. For more than 16 years, they planned and prepared for innkeeping and finally, in October 1996 their dream came true, we became the owners of The Rookwood Inn.
In 1999, Steve succumbed to metastatic melanoma. While no longer physically among us, his presence is still very much felt at the Inn. The chefs still cook with many of his recipes, while continuing to grow and test new ones that respect his commitment to reduced fat and sugar without sacrificing flavor or texture. And his collection of Wallace Nutting prints and classical music fill the inn.
