Dear Love,
Stop abandoning yourself.
This year. This month. This week. This day. This moment.
Now is the time for you to commit, once and for all, to never abandon yourself ever again.
You have so much love to give, so much value to add, so much wisdom to offer. Your energy is beautiful, infectious, and worthy of being witnessed and celebrated.
But you are "the cheerleader", and not the one-to-be-cheered-on, right?
Wrong.
Well, not anymore.
The time has come for you to step forward, find your footing, and lead from the front. No more waiting in the wings, no more cheering from the sidelines, no more hiding in the shadows, no more not getting recognition for your greatness.
It is time to break out.
Why?
Well because nature said so.
As of Tuesday, February 17th, we begin the Year of The Fire Horse with an astrological BANG: A New Moon in Aquarius + Annular (aka. "Ring of Fire") Solar Eclipse + Saturn Conjunct Neptune in Aries. All happening at the SAME TIME.
Oh, and followed by the very first Mercury Retrograde of the year, starting February 26th, and going strong until March 20th.
In a word, what all of this means is that this is your BREAKOUT.
If we were at the races, and all of the jockeys were holding on to their horses behind the gates, as of February 17th, it will be the point at which the announcer says "Ready... Aim... FIRE!!!" - the starting gun goes off, the gates fly open, and we will all hit the ground running at full gallop!
But, let me break this down.
- Year of the Fire Horse. Starting February 17th, Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse represents a rare 60-year cycle restarting of intense transformation, passionate energy, and accelerated, and at times chaotic, change for the better. It combines Horse zodiac's independent, fast-moving, free-spirited (and impatient) nature with Fire element's purifying, illuminating, volatile and obstacle-incinerating energy, driving us all in the fervent and flowing pursuit of absolute Truth and Liberation for all. All secrets will come to light. All justice will be served. All obstacles will be broken through. All limits and All walls are illusions created in the mind. This will be FAST MOVING year, with lots and lots of ACTION. So make sure to ground, whether you are riding the horse, gripping him tight, or if you yourself are the horse, pounding the ground with all four hooves in full gallop. Ground, move, ground, move, and find your flowing groove this year!
- New Moon in Aquarius. Astrologically, Aquarius as a sign is all about thinking outside the box, going against the grain, being the "black sheep", marching to the beat of your own drum, embracing Truth, ascension, expansion, and absolute authenticity. This is the Age of Aquarius, and the New Moon is when the moon appears to be invisible in the night sky, offering a blank canvas on which we are invited to write our new wishes, desires and goals that we want to manifest. So, with the New Moon coupled with Aquarius, I'd recommend you set intentions to discover, see and truly embody your Truth, your authentic energy, and your purpose in life.
- Annular Solar Eclipse. An annular solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes directly between Earth and the Sun but is too far away to fully cover the it, resulting in a "Ring of Fire" appearing in the sky, otherwise known as an "annulus" (ring). This event holds powerful spiritual significance, acting as a cosmic reset button, rebirth, energetic realignment with Source, and is the perfect time to set new intentions and declare your New You to the (YO)Universe. This is the portal to leave the old you behind, and let it die. Just as The Christ died, was buried, and rose again, this is an astrological event of the stone being rolled over the tomb of your old life, and then being released where you can rise again, like a phoenix from the ashes, purified by the fire of transformation.
- Saturn Conjunct Neptune in Aries. Happening on February 20th, this is a rare, once-in-a-lifetime astrological event that marks the (end, and) beginning of a 36-year cycle, setting a new spiritual and cultural tone for our planet. Occurring at the very first point of the entire zodiac (aptly named The Aries Point), this alignment represents a "Genesis" moment, merging the need for divine masculine Structure (Saturn) with the realm of divine feminine Spirit (Neptune) in the pioneering, fire sign of Aries. Grounding into divine cosmic union, this represents the birth of the Spiritual Warrior in every empath and healer on Earth, as Saturn in Aries demands personal accountability and self-discipline, while Neptune in Aries inspires the spiritual pioneer through love and compassion. The Spiritual Warrior Archetype is one who acts with courageous integrity, transforming anger into fuel for meaningful, soulful and heart-centered action. - Mercury Retrograde in Pisces. The planet Mercury governs Travel, Technology, Communication and Commerce, and a "retrograde" is an optical illusion where the planet appears to be going backward to the naked eye in the night sky, but it is actually still moving forward, it just looks backwards from our vantage point on earth. All of this is to say that a retrograde "big breakdowns" that are actually "big breakthroughs"; the challenges, accidents and upsets are not happening TO you during this time, instead, they are actually happening FOR you, to clean up your life and propel you forward at a higher vibration. With it being Pisces, This transit brings foggy communication, emotional sensitivity, and creative, intuitive insights, as the watery spiritual nature of Pisces blurs the typically analytical, logical nature of Mercury. It is a time for introspection, revisiting past emotions, and dealing with technology or communication hiccups, and all of this will bring profound "aha!" moments and innovations.
So, in summation, in the past, you abandoned yourself for others, stepping aside to let them shine, or to focus on working on your shadow behind the scenes, and in private.
But no more.
Now is the time where you are activating your full power.
Now is the time where you will be SEEN in your shift, WITNESSED in your ascension, OUT in the open.
The entire Universe has your back. All the stars and planets have aligned!
The old you has finally died and been left behind, and this is your rebirth.
And, please know this: you really do have the strength to step out and shine, no matter what the peanut gallery says! You are not alone. Spirit has your back.
