Love Letters | Empath Entrepreneur Tribe – Part 4 of 4

This is week four of four of our exploration of what is at stake being an empath entrepreneur.

If this is the first time you're seeing me, please make sure you stop now and go back on my blog at VictoriaWhitfield.com to start from part one so that you're grounded in this process. For week four of four my guides have asked us to discuss the power of minding your tribe. Mind your tribe as an empath entrepreneur, as an empath with professional engagements, as an empath growing and advancing his or her career. Mind your tribe.

You know, last week we discussed what your needs are, and we explored understanding the power of environment. Environment meaning the physical environment within which you work. This is super important because how grounded and clear your environment around you is really dictates how productive, focused and effective you're able to be in business and in your career. Now, we're taking that one step further to mind your tribe as an empath entrepreneur.

This is regarding not only the physical things that you have in your environment, making sure that it's clean, orderly, gentle, loving, reminding you of your highest self, reminding you of your own positive inherent nature, your own inherent clarity and empowerment. It’s not just having lovely things – to some extent, if you're by yourself, okay, that's a great start – but now the guides want us to discuss the power of minding our tribe of people around us.

What is this concept of tribe, by the way? Well, a tribe is similar to a family. It is a group of those of us who are cut from the same cloth, emotionally and spiritually speaking. That's what we mean when we're talking about a tribe. What we’re talking about is not just if you are an indigenous person, like your tribe genetically speaking, but I'm talking about for everyone, for all of us. It’s feeling like we have our posse, our cheerleading squad, our equals, the people who are on that same emotional, energetic, spiritual and even professional level. Mind your tribe.

I want you to think for a moment right now as we invoke this topic. Who are the five people you spend the most time with? Who are the five people who have influenced your outlook the most? Who are the five people that you purchase the most things from? Who are the five people whose books, articles and blogs you read or listen to the most? Who are the five people, if you have five, who when stuff hits the fan, you could call them and lean on them? Mind your tribe. Be kind to yourself. Having those who are strong enough to uphold you as the strong one, having five is uncommon. We're lucky if we even have one, maybe two.

Ensuring that as an empath, you have nourishing people around you is part of building that nourishing environment that keeps your energy clear, productive, bright and uplifting. If there aren’t good people around you, be kind to yourself. If there are people around you who shoot down your creative ideas, who encourage you to be pessimistic, fearful, competitive, insecure or doubtful, be kind to yourself. These may not be nourishing people for your tribe.

How do you know if someone is nourishing for your tribe? Because when you're around them, your energy feels clear, or in other words, when you're around them, emotionally you feel safe, uplifted and inspired in a positive way. So, how many people do you have around you that make you feel safe, uplifted and inspired? They don't have to be physically next to you in order to nourish you. As an empath, we have this gift of being able to absorb others' physical and emotional feelings, but not just in person, like right here physically in the room with you and I. We can feel them at a distance.

In fact, time and space have no dictation, they have no governance over how effective your empathic sense may be. It could be that you spend your time really soaking up your grandmother's wisdom. When you think of what to do or how to make a decision, immediately your mind goes to your grandmother. Who's an excellent example of this? Other than myself, I would have to say Lisa Nichols. She's always talking about all that wonderful, wonderful wisdom she soaked up from her grandmother. Bringing that up in her. Her grandmother, although she may be more than alive at this time is still part of her tribe, and through Lisa, her grandmother inspires millions. Now that’s a high vibe tribe. Positive vibes only!

So, mind your tribe. Does this mean you need to cut people out of your life and stop being around them? I would say leave that to your own discretion. For someone who's survived abuse, there comes a certain point where you say no more and then you're out, or in my case, there came a point where I said, "I have to leave." I had to cut this person out of my life. It was not healthy, but at the same time, maybe this is a complicated relationship that is not necessarily abusive. It's just an opportunity for you to learn how to communicate better. Maybe it's your life partner or your child, so on and so forth.

In that respect, what you want to do, if the people who are very close to you aren't very nourishing, is to go and seek out those who are nourishing. Add more good rather than subtract the bad. Just keep crowding yourself with more good, nourishing, uplifting, inspiring and safe people. Pile them on. Pile them on. Five to one ratio, some people have recommended, if you're a numbers person, to bring in more of that love to surround you. As an empath, you need nourishing people. You need that high vibe tribe to keep your energy clear and flowing abundantly, organically.

I'm hearing the oracle cards calling in the energy. All month long we have been journeying with Archangel Michael. Again, he’s the patron angel of protection and clearing and he's a wonderful archetype to start with, and to call on, to keep your energy clear. Okay, Archangel Michael, what do we need to know right now about minding our tribe as empathic entrepreneurs? ... This is where we'll leave off for the week, and for the month. My goodness! Innocence.

Innocence. Dear God and angels, thank you for helping me see that all of your qualities of pure love and light are reflected within me and all others. Help me embrace my God given innocence so that I may be at peace.

Okay. So I just heard very clearly in the energy that someone watching this right now has a mindset that says, "I don't deserve any better than what I have right now. I don't deserve to be around people who are safe or I'm not worthy because of X, Y, Z.” Or “I'm not good enough, so that means I cannot bring in people who are high vibe.” Or “I should just be satisfied with the people who are around me, no matter how much they hurt me." If that was you thinking that just now, I want you to know that the angels are assuring you that we are all at essence innocent. We are all at essence worthy, and what I mean by innocent is just as innocent as nature.

Whether or not you believe in the inherent beauty and dignity of nature, you would never assume evil of a wild animal. They're just there. They're just a part of nature. That kind of innocence is what we're talking about. Sure, we may do bad things, like a lion might cut apart another animal and eat it, but is that really bad? It's just the circle of life. I mean, sure, it's perceived bad to the one getting eaten, and for us it may appear violent, but at essence, that lion is still just a part of nature as is that other animal that they're consuming.

Remember your innocence. You are just as worthy as the next person to receive love, to feel safe at work. You are just as worthy whether you've done things that would earn you the Nobel peace prize or if you never got out of bed or even open your eyes. You are just as worthy of love and support. I love that the sun is coming out to affirm that, and on that note, please make sure you comment below or send me an email back at team@VictoriaWhitfield.com. What's coming up for you hearing all of this?

Make sure you subscribe on YouTube so that you get these love letters first every single week. If you need more support, by the way, don't forget to go to VictoriaWhitfield.com/contact to set up your call. I would love to talk to you about how you could join our tribe here of high vibe entrepreneurs if you're looking for people who would be happy to be in your corner rooting for you as we altogether glow as we grow. I'll see you next week.

May you feel loved and safe at work, and please: Enjoy the journey.

Bye for now!

Just for today...

Choose to believe that you are worthy, enough and inherently innocent and precious, just like the forests or the ocean.

See yourself as worthy of being surrounded by people who love, honor, respect and cherish you as are, because you are indeed precious.

Notice how you feel in that moment - you're already healing!

Love Letters | Empath Entrepreneur Superpowers – Part 2 of 4

This is week two of four in our exploration around being an empath entrepreneur.

What's at stake? What's it like? Let's own it. Let's talk this through. If this is your first exposure to me, I would highly recommend you go back on my blog at victoriawhitfield.com and make sure that you start from week one, part one in this four-part series.

Without further ado, last week, we discussed what are some of the pitfalls and the challenges illuminating that of being an empath entrepreneur, so this week, we're going to talk about why this makes you a freaking superhero. Let's talk about it. Yeah, it's clear that there are things that are extra-challenging about being an empath. You are an emotional sponge, just to summarize. Whether or not you ask for it, you're soaking up what's going on in other people's emotional bodies.

Meaning, if they are feeling angry, or sad, or overwhelmed, or anxious, you're absorbing that without asking. You're just sponging it up into you, and you're also soaking up what's going on in people's physical bodies as well. If they have ache in their head or in their shoulder, or pain in their gut or jaw, so on and so forth, you feel that as well. When you're talking to them, you're thinking, "Ugh, why does my head hurt all of a sudden now that I'm in this space / now that I've walked into this new home?” For all my realtors out there, how many of you have walked into this new space, and thought, "Ugh, why am I getting all this back pain all of a sudden? I'm fine. I never had anything wrong with me before." Right? This is what happens when you're empathic. You soak up the emotional or physical energy of an environment.

But here's the thing: being an empath is not a curse. Absolutely not. It is a freaking advantage when you know how to work it properly. And here's why: Empaths are superior communicators. Superior as in like supercharged, superhuman communicators. So anyone who's watching right now, if you are a manager or a coach of any kind or a teacher of any kind, and you are empathic, that means that the people who you serve, those that are under you feel extra-heard, understood, seen, held, and honored by you. You more often than not happen to be the best boss that they have ever had or the best manager that they have ever had, the best coach that they have ever had because they usually say to you, "You get me like nobody else gets me. I don't know why I end up telling you way more or entrusting you with way more information or things about myself than other people. For some reason, you get me, and I feel so connected to you."

For those of you who are empaths and that serve others, you are super communicators and super connectors because of your empathic sense. You communicate with another person's energy. You pick up on what has been left unsaid. I want to tell you a brief story of when I was working with one of my private clients - she owns a bed and breakfast. She is incredibly brilliant, champions feminism and has had a long history of women’s sexual health advocacy, and she's just a freaking rock star. She's an earth angel. At the same time, she's so frustrated with me on our call because she's saying, "Victoria, I don't ... I can't get over how much I'm absorbing from people. I keep getting the feeling like I'm doing something wrong."

Remember last week when we spoke about that same feeling? How sometimes if you're an empath business owner or an empath professional, you feel like there's something wrong with you to the point that you're in the wrong vocation, no matter how much passion you have for it? She was at that state, and my guides sent me a vision for her because she was just so frustrated with being overwhelmed as an empath.
Sound familiar? Maybe this has been your situation, but the vision that my guides sent to me for her, and now I'm going to share with you, is this: they sent me a vision of, if you would remember, 9/11 where the Twin Towers fell. All of the rubble. So many lives lost, but at the same time, right after the towers fell, after the dust for the most part cleared, there was this whole other level of rescue missions that had to happen because people weren't all dead. They were trapped underneath the rubble.

So, picture this with me: all this concrete... huge piles of broken concrete, and twisted metal, and whatnot. Underneath the rubble, there are people who are praying to God, "Somebody come find me, please," or shouting, but their voices beneath all of that are just completely muffled to human ears. The real heroes - other than the courageous firefighters and our awesome first-responders, police workers, and volunteers, all humans out there searching - the unsung heroes of recovering people and finding them who've been trapped beneath the rubble of the Twin Towers were actually the rescue dogs. My guides are showing me these dogs who are going through all of the rubble, hearing the sounds of the screams from stories down or smelling the sense of bodies of people who are still alive, but don't even have the strength to make a sound and cry out for help. They can hear beneath the rubble. I'm getting the chills as I say this to you right now.

As an empath, you can hear those who are crying out for help, silently crying out, who are in deep need, and they are trapped beneath the rubble of their lives. Perhaps, they have no voice left, but you can hear them because you have that empathic sense, just like a canine has super smell and super hearing - and animals are also empathic, by the way. Let's throw that in there.

The same way that they're able to hear, and dig, and start clawing through until they get down to that person that they could feel the energy of and bring them, pull them back up from the darkness, out of being trapped, into the light, that is what you have been equipped to do in this lifetime. That is why being empathic is a freaking superpower. Can you feel it? Type it below. Enter it in the comments below, "I embrace my empathic superpower. I can hear people beneath the rubble of their lives." Own it!

For some people, they're buried in so much grief or so much shame that they're not comfortable enough, or don't have enough energy, or just don't give themselves enough time or permission to reach out and to start that healing process, or start that transformational process, but because you as an empath can hear what's going on beneath the surface, you're able to pull them up from the darkness and back into the light like none other. That's why they say, "You get me like none other." That's why they say, "Ah, I can entrust you with so much more," because they know you can hear them.

With that being said, I'm going to take it to the Oracle cards for the week. We're using the Archangel Michael Doreen Virtue Oracle cards deck. We are journeying with this deck all month. Alrighty. Such a powerful message this week. Isn't it good? Tell me, tell me. Is it good? Yeah! All right, angels. What do we need to know right now? Archangel Michael, what do we need to know right now about stepping into and owning our superpower as empath entrepreneurs and empathic professionals? I feel this one. Oh my goddess! I got a little bit of Déjà vu here. Sense of humor.

Sense of humor. "My prayer, thank you for helping me see the humor in this situation so I can lovingly laugh at human nature. I am willing to view my experience in a new light in order to attract love and healing energy." I love it. I love it. I love it! Brought you all the way down deep into your soul with that channeled message, and the angels are like, "Bring it back up. Turn it on!" One of the ways that empaths call people out of the darkness and into the light is actually through having a great sense of humor, being able to find the laughter in that incredibly oppressive and heavy situation.

Laughter is the best medicine. It is said that shamans, true shamans will keep you laughing the whole time while you are working with them and going through the healing process. The best coaches know how to keep their clients or their audiences giggling their way through their transformation, right? Being able to move through our pain with ease and joy. And the best mothers know that when their kids get a boo-boo, it's time to have them laugh their way through it so that they feel better and recover the energy that they think they may have been lost by getting hurt in the first place.

Is this vibrating with you? Are you feeling aligned with calling on your sense of humor about your empathic sense so that you can claim that power, the power that has always been yours by birthright? Comment below or send me an email back at team@victoriawhitfield.com, or if you need help connecting to your sense of humor about it because you've been in a state of overwhelm for too long, YOU might be the one who's beneath the rubble in your life right now. Make sure that you reach out so that we can book a session and talk about how I can best support you and glowing as you grow your business, so I'll see you next time.

May you feel loved and safe at work, and please: Enjoy the journey.

Bye for now!
