Love Letters | Spiritual Room – Part 4 of 4

It is week four of four in our exploration of making room for yourself.

Isn't this series on time? I'm telling you, we've been having such a powerful conversation around making room for you to be your most authentic self, to step into your fullest expression of who you really are in this lifetime. If you have not caught parts one through three, stop and go back on my blog at victoriawhitfield.com so that you can start from part one to ensure you're grounded in this process.

Without further ado, this week in particular, my guides have asked us to discuss making room for yourself spiritually. In the first few layers of us digging through this wonderful topic, we discussed making room for yourself physically, and then mentally-emotionally, but now at the final rung of our conversation around making room, what's coming up is making sure that you are making room for yourself spiritually.

Here's the thing, when we're talking about making room for ourselves spiritually, this means really rooting down into our words and rooting down into our relationship with our beliefs. We're not talking about one spiritual practice in particular, or one system of spiritual beliefs in particular as something that you need to adopt. You may have one specific subscription to a certain worldview or point of view, a certain perspective that you believe in, and you may have inherited that, or chosen it over time.

But if we're going to make room for you being the fullest expression of who you really are, then we must make room for you in your spiritual energy, and this has to do with redefining your unique relationship with spirit. Your unique relationship with your worldview. Sure, maybe you may be Christian or Jewish or atheist, or you may be in the “spiritual, but not religious” or new-age types. Or you may be Muslim, or Mormon and something else. You may have religious and or spiritual views and practices that you resonate with, but what my guides are asking me to invite you to this week in particular, is renewing your unique description of that. Your unique relationship, your unique definition of your beliefs. And this involves defining your Values.

Danielle Laporte gives us a wonderful example of how to do this in her book, The Desire Map. She calls this having “core desired feelings,” or Napoleon Hill in Think and Grow Rich calls this, having “definiteness of purpose.” Tony Robbins helps us begin to stick our toes into this water with the Ericksonian Six Human Needs. There's so many different ways that we can go about defining what our Values are. For example, even in your Business Plan, you have the mission, vision and values statements.

The words that we put to your unique stance on who you are and what you believe have power. And they have power because your spirituality is grounded in what you value. Spirit is what really dictates the decisions that we make in life. It dictates the overarching direction for us.

It's important that you make room for you and your unique voice in what you believe. Sure you might be Christian, or sure you might be atheist, but why? What's your story around that? Sure, you may believe in Buddhist meditation or yoga, or you may believe in Reiki and prayer or whatever. But why? What does that mean to you? It’s time to get clear on Why YOU believe what you do.--

I'm hearing the Oracle Cards calling in the energy to help ground us, and give a little bit more clarity for our topic for the week. Suffice it to say that when you are making room for yourself spiritually, this has to do with your unique relationship with God, your unique relationship with Source, and your unique relationship with all of brother and sister humanity. What is your perspective? Not anybody else's perspective. Everyone is informing you, but we want to hear what is your unique perspective, because where we're going to be covering next is stepping into your divinity, and we have got to know what's in there in order to step IN with grace. Are you ready for that? So stay tuned. I'll see you in the next love letter for that. But before we even go there, we got to read the Oracle Card of the week. We're not there yet. It's the Angels of Abundance Oracle Cards deck.

By the way, my goodness, this is the last video at this dojo space. Three years of amazingness, thank you goddess! So grateful. All righty, Angels of Abundance, what do we need to know right now about making room for ourselves spiritually? Partnership. ...This is kind of freaky for me personally, I'll get to that in a second.

Partnership. What's dropping in for you in particular is that your spiritual journey in life is not just your devotion to your beliefs, but it is a partnership with the forces of nature and energy in your life. It's a partnership; eye to eye, heart to heart, pelvis to pelvis, mind to mind. This life and all that is, is a partnership. There is none above and there is none below you. You are one. We are all one, and remember that. I'm going to read, and then I'll tell you what came up for me personally.

“Allow helpful supportive partnerships into your personal life and career, and both parties benefit as a result. You are receiving help from heaven and from a person who brings needed skills and resources.”

This is where we're going to leave off for this week: embracing partnership in your spirituality. Remember that Source and Spirit are resources for you. This is where your energy, fuel and nourishment come from, so remember to call that in and call it in abundance. What a powerful message.

For me personally, I take a word a year that as the theme for the entire year. At the filming of this video, you'll be seeing us at the end of December 2018. My word for 2019 is Collaboration. Partnership is collaboration. This is really wild that this card came forward. It's resonating!

I'm curious what's your word for your year? Go ahead, send me an email back at team@victoriawhitfield.com or comment below. I would love to hear what's your word, your theme for 2019. And, let's do this! I'm so excited to see what we're going to create together, partnering together.

Make sure you subscribe on YouTube so that you get these Love Letters, first, every week. Hit that share button for whoever needs to hear this and whoever is coming up in your energy that they need this, too. I will see you next time. Happy New Year, or anytime that you're watching this. Love Letters | Mental Room – Part 3 of 4

This is week three of four in our deep dive around making room for you in life and business.

If you did not catch the first two weeks, you're behind. Pause now. Go back on my blog at victoriawhitfield.com and start from part one so that you're grounded in this process.

For week three, my guides have asked us to discuss, specifically, making mental and emotional room for yourself. This is critical because most of our energy in life comes from our mental and emotional state. What's the difference between mental and emotional? Mental is your mindset, the thoughts that you think and the stories that you tell yourself, the images that are in your mind from a moment-to-moment basis. That is your mental energy.

Emotional has to do with your heart, your vulnerability, your courageousness, and your emotions; how you feel about what's going on in your mind, how you feel about what's going on around you, including your reactions and your responses. Be kind to yourself. If you've been having a hard time telling the difference between the two or one is over here, and the other is over here, there may be a misalignment. If only just for now, we are bringing your mind and emotions back into alignment specifically this week by making room for them, for your authentic point of view and for your authentic feelings.

Now, for those of us who may have a past of being codependent or depending on someone or something external for an identity, this piece may be particularly difficult. What this means is that we're seeking externally for validation, for direction, for whether or not everything is okay. You are used to looking outside of yourself rather than tuning within. We may have had a past that showed us that going inward is dangerous or uncomfortable, and that is why instead of clearing our mind or tuning into our heart and our emotions.

Perhaps we don’t because the two of are disorganized and uncomfortable, and instead it’s just easier to just focus on other people. I heard a brilliant woman say at a conference I was recently attending, “I hide behind helping people,” and, ooh, my heart leapt out of my chest to her because I understand that. If that resonates with you, then this week is for you, too.

If you're making mental and emotional room for yourself, that means clearing out, firstly, on the mental side, anything or anybody who's taking up space in your mind without contributing in a positive way. When imbalanced, this could look like you catastrophizing, envisioning the worst possible outcome or remembering how bad things went before or ruminating on the negative. If that is your predominant mindset - how things have gone wrong, or how you're not good enough, or how things are not working out for you - this week, in particular, we want to bring that back to center by clearing out any of the negative mind chatter.

How do you do that? Make it concrete. Make it visual. Write it down. I double dare you. I'm from Jersey, and I’ll even Double Dawg Dare you to do it! Lol! I double dawg dare you to write down all of the worries and negative stories that are going on in your mind. This may take a while. Be kind to yourself. It is worth it. I especially recommend that you write it on toilet paper because I bet you know where that goes. Yeah, so clearing the mind by honoring all of the negative crusty stories it holds, writing down all the words that are floating around in your head to ground them out of you is healing.

Know this: One of the ways that we make room for ourselves mentally and emotionally is by getting ourselves out on paper and looking at that. Have compassion by making it visual. Get it out of your head and heart onto paper this week.  #womeninbusiness #entrepreneur #mindset @SenseiWhitfield

Then we go into making room in your emotions and in your heart. If your heart is crowded, that may look like getting caught up in drama, so much drama of what other people are going through, or the drama of your own family, and then really feeling a sense of unforgiveness, resentment and anger. You find yourself regularly holding low vibrational emotions, and, ugh, such a sense of frustration that ... Ooh, that just made my chest hurt. A sense of frustration where we can't really listen to our heart because our heart is so full of maybe grief, maybe anger, maybe a sense of resentment or jealousy, envy.

Again, a similar solution to clearing your heart center clearing the emotions is to write it down, write it down, write it down, all of the things that you feel. Again, that may take a while, but be kind to yourself. You are worth it.

One of the ways that we make room for ourselves mentally and emotionally is by getting ourselves out on paper and looking at that. Huh, look at all of these things that I'm so frustrated about. Look at all the things that I'm tolerating. Look at all of these awful stories that I'm telling about myself. Have compassion by making it visual. Get it out of your head and out of your heart onto paper this week.

I'm hearing the Oracle cards calling in the energy to help us to continue to create space for abundance making room. “Angels of Abundance” by Doreen Virtue and her son Grant Virtue, this Oracle card is deck is what we are using. Alrighty, angels, what do we need to know right now about making room for our highest self, specifically mentally and emotionally. Okay. “Clean Energy Food.” Thank you. Okay, I just got hit by that.

My spirit guides are saying there are stories around your food that you are no honoring. You're just ignoring the stories that you tell yourself about the food that you put in your body. Now, are these positive stories that uplift and energize you and love on you, or are these stories that beat you into submission or lower your vibration, make you feel sad or exhausted or even addicted? There's also emotions that you have around the food that you are taking into your body. “Oh, just this one time” or that sense of devil-may-care, or a sense of hurriedness, like, "Oh, I'm just going to shove this in my face and keep on going because I don't matter." Yeah, how does that feel? Slow down around your relationship with food this week.

That is a wonderful one way to start clearing your mind and your heart, specifically in relationship to food, is what my spirit guides just said, but what did the angels say through Doreen and Grant? “When you fuel your body with a healthful organic diet, you increase your energy levels and ability to focus. This automatically leads to more efficiency, better ideas, and a higher vibration, which attracts golden opportunities, and beneficial relationships.” This is so perfect, and this is where we're going to leave off for the week.

In addition to the mental and emotional practice of taking food into your body this week, please know that as you eat clean energy food, that also helps to fuel your mind fuel your brain, as Dave Asprey would say, to cleanse your blood which also clears your heart. There is an emotional and mental benefit to eating clean energy food, even if you just pause for a few seconds before you start eating to say, "Thank you for all the love that I've received today," and infuse that food with that intent.

What comes up for you hearing all this? Send me an email back at team@victoriawhitfield.com, and make sure that you subscribe on YouTube so that you get these Love Letters first every week. All right, I'm excited to hear how you're doing making room for yourself. I'll see you next week. Bye for now.

Just for today...

Write down all of the negative chatter going on in your mind and heart, to make room for something better.

Feel the energy clearing as you dump it out on to the page – or even a couple feet of toilet paper – and clear your head of all that low vibration.

Notice how you feel in that moment - you're already healing!
